Today in Quetta, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee successfully organized a seminar on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. The event brought together families of the disappeared, human rights defenders, students, and concerned citizens, each united by a shared commitment to justice and human dignity.
Throughout the program, participants engaged with detailed human rights reports, thought provoking drama performances, emotional testimonies from families, and impactful speeches from BYC leadership. Every segment of the seminar shed light on the ongoing human rights crisis in Balochistan, emphasizing the urgent need for accountability, recognition, and collective action.
Today’s gathering was not just an event, it was a reaffirmation of resilience. The courage of the victims’ families, the dedication of the youth, and the solidarity of the community reminded us once again that the struggle for truth and justice continues with unwavering strength.

Statement on the International Human Rights Day
By Baloch Voice for Justice
On this International Human Rights Day, Baloch Voice for Justice solemnly highlights the ongoing and systematic human rights violations in Balochistan. Despite global commitments to uphold human dignity, the people of Balochistan continue to face enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary detentions and suppression of fundamental freedoms.
We remind the United Nations and the international community of their obligations under international human rights law, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and other relevant treaties. It is the responsibility of the UN and its member states to ensure that human rights are protected, that perpetrators are held accountable, and that victims receive justice.
The ongoing violations in Balochistan not only undermine the rule of law but also threaten regional stability and global human rights norms. On this day, we call on the United Nations to:
1. Acknowledge the ongoing human rights crisis in Balochistan publicly.
2. Demand accountability for enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
3. Deploy independent monitoring mechanisms to investigate and report on violations.
4. Support the Baloch people in securing their basic rights to life, liberty, and freedom of expression.
The struggle for human rights is universal, and silence is complicity. On this International Human Rights Day, we stand in solidarity with the oppressed people of Balochistan and urge the UN to act decisively to uphold its mandate of protecting human dignity and justice.

Day 141 without Changaiz.
141 days of crushing silence. Every ring or knock sparks hopethen shatters it.
His name now reaches strangers. Louder in chains than free.
We remember. We fight.
He’s coming home.

The Baloch Literacy Campaign highlights the dire state of Govt. Primary School Gori Balghatar Kech. Students study without proper classrooms, exposed to extreme weather, and lack access to clean drinking water. We urge authorities to ensure basic facilities.
