In one go? Virginia Beach to the opposite corner of Ohio... 2 tanks of gas, every long weekend for a few years (and of course back 2 days later). If we allow for a sleep stop, then Ohio to San Diego, 32 hours rolling, add a few hours for gas and sleep, call it 40 hours elapsed. I've done that one probably 6 times one direction or the other

Most of what we have on this planet is easy to harvest and found in abundance in space..... Water, gold, all of it..... Except.... Chlorophyll... It's the one thing we have that could be detected at a distance that we don't have any evidence for anywhere else. When they come, they'll probably land in green spots for plant samples.
