Try to do something this week to help someone else in a way that has nothing to do with politics. It will make you feel better. And it will be a small but measurable step in helping heal our world.
Biden would be only the 4th challenger in 100 years to defeat an incumbent president seeking a second elected term. If he succeeds, he will join a group of uniquely talented politicians: FDR, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.
Don't discount what he (appears to) have pulled off.
At the end of this, Joe Biden will have:
-More votes nationally than any other Presidential candidate in history
-More than 50% of the popular vote
-At *least* two 2016 flips (and more coming)
-A higher margin in WI, PA, and MI than Trump's in 2016
I just split a donation to 70+ bail funds and racial justice orgs at https://t.co/SYmNU4Vz0O. You can too. Please donate today. #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/mX4eMI3nHZ
@FrankBruni I love you and the argument podcast so much, but you’ve been talking about New York so much lately. I know you’re The NY Times, but can we keep it more relevant for the whole country?
@TheOinkster do you donate to local non-profits? St. James Parish Day School is having a fundraiser + silent auction and we'd LOVE to include The Oinkster. We're huge fans of your spot...it's so hard to find good spots that are kid friendly!
Godspeed President Bush. This is the bookend to the Barbara Bush cartoon from April. My thoughts are with the Bush family tonight. On a personal note, he was the first president I drew as a cartoonist (I began my career in 1988.) @JennaBushHager#presidentBush#rip#georgehwbush
