@ConwyCBC Is marine drive closed to cyclists for a genuine reason? I had a rare day off work, feeling burnt out, needing to clear my mind so cycled, alone, from my doorstep (in Conwy) to Marine Drive to do a circuit around the Orme, but find it is closed to cyclists 😔

@drrob22 Great, thanks for your reply. So VBG maybe more useful for the clinically mild-severe cases to rule out hypercapnia, and if CO2 high, then progress to ABG? And ABG initially for all life threatening cases. Would that be a reasonable approach for us going into F1?

@drrob22 interested by your comment yesterday to always ABG asthmatics. What are your thoughts on VBG at time of other bloods, and if CO2 normal/low, no need to ABG? My personal view is that ABG as standard in an often young population may delay future presentations. Thanks

@RilesinWales I can see how it being used as part of summarise assessments creates problems with reliability in terms of duration of contact tho. Maybe formative feedback could be a start? 😊

This placement is the first where I’ve needed to do Team Assessment of Behaviour (TABs). I’m surprised that we don’t need feedback from patients. Surely they are the most important ‘team member’ to give feedback about our performance. Do any TABs include patients? #patientcentred

@RilesinWales Great to hear it’s in the pipeline. It’s something I would actually like to receive feedback about, so perhaps more of a formative viewpoint would be useful. Even brief encounters with patients can provide useful feedback e.g introductions, rapport, comms skills etc
