There is no reason to be an asshole. Everyone is going through something. Sick family members, illnesses, no job, debt, losing homes... list is endless. In other words, life isn’t all about you. Be respectful to your fellow humans. At the end of the day, most people do care. 🥰💪🏻
Jeanie Buss reportedly banished Jerry West and revoked his season tickets after West took issue with her dating the team's head coach, per @SherwoodStrauss
“After Jerry Buss died, Jeanie Buss inherited the team and wholly excommunicated Jerry West from the franchise, even taking his season tickets. According to sources, the bitterness started back when West was critical of Jeanie Buss’ relationship with then Laker coach Phil Jackson. Phil won that particular battle, and ultimately the power struggle with West.”

Willie made me feel like a true professional. He came to my locker at the 1968 All Star Game to say “hey, you should have been the starting Catcher.” I didn’t need to get in the game. He made my dream! One of my favorite people of all time!
May my all time first team shooting guard rest in peace knowing he paved the way for defining greatness on the hardwood, excellence in the front office and living life his way. Jerry is one of one and claims the right to be the logo forever. My condolences to his family.
Doc
The reason Jerry West is the logo for the NBA is because he embodied the qualities we admire in our best athletes: skills as a player, dedication as a teammate, and integrity as a person. He was my coach, and my advisor, but mostly he was my friend. Today, a part of the continent has broken off and we are all left a little smaller. I know I am. I especially want to send my deepest condolences to Karen and the entire West family.
Congratulations to the radio legend, @richardblade on his @WalkofFameStar ceremony today. For years I accused him of faking his accent. Now he’s got the whole world fooled. 😂
Rest in peace to a friend, 2X NBA Champion, Hall of Famer, and one of the most skilled centers we’ve ever seen Bill Walton! His NCAA Championship performance as a UCLA Bruin against Memphis is by far the most dominate NCAA Championship performance ever - he shot 21 for 22 and had us all mesmerized! That’s when I first fell in love with his basketball game.
They talk about Jokic being the most skilled center but Bill Walton was first! From shooting jump shots to making incredible passes, he was one of the smartest basketball players to ever live. Bill was a great ambassador for college basketball and the NBA, and he will be sorely missed. Cookie and I send our condolences and prayers to his wife Lori, kids Luke, Nathan, Chris, and Adam, and all of his loved ones. 🙏🏾
Malik Heard got a big surprise when he was at his graduation at the University of West Georgia.
His mom, Sgt. Eva Roby, who was deployed in Kosovo with the National Guard, surprised him after he received his diploma.
Sgt. Roby told Fox 5 that she has had to miss some important moments over the years, but she refused to miss her son, whom she raised as a single mom, graduate from college.
Malik is the first man to graduate from college in his family, and his degree is in Special Education.
Malik says he’s not done; he’s going for his Master's and PhD next.
Meet Alfie. 35 pounds gone with MyBodyTutor! In his words, "I'm a 100% or nothing kinda guy. That can be a blessing and a curse. I get good results when I'm motivated and get out of shape when I'm stressed. My results were a direct reflection of my emotions.
That all changed when I started working with MyBodyTutor.
My coach didn't just give me a diet or training plan and wave me off into the gym with a pat on my back and a thumbs up. She supported me through the entire process. She worked on my mindset, my habits, and my systems. She helped me get real results and, more importantly, protect them.
I went from 205 pounds to 170 pounds and competed in my first Muay Thai boxing competition in under 6 months. I've never got in that good shape and been able to maintain it before.
I learned how to build a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. I learned to be kind to myself, and show myself empathy and encouragement while holding myself accountable and getting results.
I got results, not because I was given a diet plan or gym routine (although I got those too), but because I was empowered with real knowledge and had an accountability partner who helped me show up every day, even when I didn't want to. MyBodyTutor is an incredible program."

On February 11, 2024 Officer Jonah Hernandez LCPD responded to a call for service in the community he selflessly served. Officer Hernandez was killed in the line of duty during this call. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. Rest easy, L989
79 years ago today Soviet troops entered Auschwitz, freeing over 7,000 prisoners & some 700 children. So much murder, pain, & suffering, organized by the Nazis. Can’t believe we’re still fighting Nazis in 2024. Tell the story. Never forget. #Auschwitz#HolocaustRemembranceDay
