CONSISTENCY IS THE TRUE TEST OF A LEADER - EX-WAZIRI IS ON THE MOVE AGAIN

In politics, business, the military, or even the four walls of a humble household, true leaders are first known for their consistency; long before we applaud their competence or character. Because a man who cannot walk the same road twice cannot be trusted to lead others across a bridge.

Let’s be clear: no one should place trust in a leader with no record of stability. Picture a father who moves his family from a 3-bedroom apartment last year, to a 2-bedroom this year, then squeezes them into a ‘face-me-I-face-you’ the following year; only to hop back to a 3-bedroom the next. Will his children not live in silent anxiety?

And it doesn’t stop there: one year it’s public school, the next private, then homeschooling, then public again. That’s not raising children - that’s spinning them on a carousel of confusion!

Scan the pages of history and the landscape of nations. Every great leader worth his title stood firm with one platform or until perhaps they build theirs to maturity and blossom.

Awolowo - AG, which matured into UPN.

Mandela - ANC - to the very end.

Buhari - ANPP - formed the CPC - which evolved into the APC

Tinubu - AD - Formed the AC - and groomed it into the behemoth APC.

These were not just politicians - but INSTITUTIONS. BUILDERS. IDOLS

Because hear this: a leader who is unstable in motion can never be dependable in mission. For consistency births credibility, and without it, leadership becomes nothing more than a noisy gong with no harmony - just a loud voice bouncing off empty walls.

Now, in the year of our Lord, 2025...

We still have politicians hop more parties than DJ Spinall spins records.

PDP today, APGA tomorrow, then back to PDP, a quick detour to LP, and now they rest their fickle loyalties in ADC.

Their mentor?

A seasoned veteran of the political relay race: PDP to AC, back to PDP, then off to APC, another U-turn to PDP, and now expiring in ADC. Haba! Even frogs, in their erratic jumps, display more grace and predictability.

But the real shocker? It’s not that such unstable characters still present themselves as leaders.

The true tragedy is that they still have followers - real people, with heads on their shoulders and blood in their veins, who follow these political nomads like sheep following a wolf in disguise.

SHAME!

But then again, if Lucifer could convince a third of heaven’s angels to defect, surely his earthly apprentices can gather a crowd.
