feels so weird to say, but here's my first open source project in github!
I built a free ai focus group tool that you need to try ASAP, here's what it does:
- Generates “synthetic personas” based on your product idea
- You ask them all the questions you want, like a real focus group
- Get answers from the focus group, and likert ratings for each answer
- Get a final insight report with a scored overview
The methodology is based on a study by colgate palmolive & @pymc_labs that predicted human purchase intent with up to 90% accuracy against real human responses!
get it below, let me know what you think!
ai twitter is funny because devs always say “what’s the point of this” and non technical people like myself say “OMG this is amazing!”
but devs never understand the other side, which is so on brand for them 😂

how to use your open research agent to build a growth strategy report
1. index your company brain first
every growth strategy you´ve run, every framework, every past client, in one place the agent reads before it starts. that context is part of what stops it from giving you generic slop output
2. hook up every tool it needs
the api keys and accesses for everywhere it has to look. for this one, that's the x api, a linkedin scraper through apify, a website scraper, an on-chain api, and a few more depending on the client
3. load the context that's not in the brain yet
add call transcripts, past chats with the client, anything specific to this account. the rest it pulls from the company brain on its own
4. tell it exactly what you want out
for this report I want where the client is now, what their pain points are, and a clear path from there to the goal
5. then spend even more time on the prompt
the open agent has no strict harness, it goes out and researches on its own. that freedom is the whole point, but it only pays off if you define what you want. here I tell it to pull everything on the client, follower count, who those followers are (enriched), what they post, how often, their positioning, on-chain stats, whether there's a founder-led funnel, and it keeps going from there
I've done this enough times that I have an open agent with a rough harness around it already, nowhere near a tight closed agent loop, but a head start.
I'm in the decision making the whole way, and the agent is prompted to pull what it needs out of me too, so it gets to the right answer in the end
6. iterate, iterate, iterate
it runs maybe 15 minutes a go and comes back with results. you give direction, add context where its thin, send it again. you keep going until the output is good, not until the agent thinks its done
7. save it for next time
once you land on something strong, save the whole setup. and if the steps start repeating cleanly, that's your signal to break it out into a closed agent loop that runs end to end
this is the open side, loose, exploratory, you in the loop the whole time. the closed agents come after, once you know exactly what good looks like
ai is exposing anyone across almost every field who doesn’t have deep domain expertise
this is happening because ai has made low level domain expertise available in seconds, so you need true domain experts to get the stuff that really moves the needle
you must create because the thing you’d make doesn’t exist anywhere else. nobody has your exact combination of experiences and wounds and obsessions, which means the work only you could make is genuinely irreplaceable. if you don’t make it, it simply never exists. the world just goes without it, never knowing what it missed. that’s the most exciting thing about being you. the thing is waiting and you’re the only door it has.
@sara_nambiar been working in hyperframes a lot and seeing a lot of the same
ended up creating scripts to set up the project, bring in all my pre-made compositions, etc. and a second script to make a word by word timestamp json and do a few other things
will check out your scene planner!
SOMEONE VIBE CODED A CHROME EXTENSION THAT DISGUISES CLAUDE AS A GOOGLE DOC SO YOU CAN USE AI IN PUBLIC
it wraps ai in a fake google docs interface, so on your screen it just looks like youre typing a document, not prompting a chatbot
what it does:
> works with chatgpt and claude
> you just type your question like a normal line in a doc and the answer comes back right there on the page
> microsoft word and notion style themes too, so you can pick your disguise
> rebuilt to properly support multiple ai models behind the doc
> the google docs look is the default
its a chrome extension called gptdisguise
this is genius.
a lot of people are embarrassed to be seen using ai in public (school, work, etc). someone just built the fix.
