I’m hiring exceptional software engineers for my team at @SpaceX.
We are a small team based in Redmond, WA (onsite) that owns key parts of the @Starlink user experience: https://t.co/HkjqT1Kf1w, the mobile app, customer support, AI integrations. No PMs. No designers. You ship from day one to millions of customers.
If this sounds interesting, DM me something impressive you’ve built.
We've raised a $500 million Series D to continue solving the next big challenge in space: movement beyond launch.
With over $1 billion in total capital raised, our team and our production are scaling aggressively to accelerate humanity’s future beyond Earth.

Less than a year ago, Ship 36 and the test stand had a really bad evening, and I was delivering pizzas. A year later, V3 launched and now I typically deliver coffee & donuts. A lot of progress can happen in a year. This was a setback, but I have no doubt Blue will bounce back well. NASA will be there to help find solutions, and this time next year, excitement will be building for Artemis III.
Update linked here on Starship’s performance today. For these development missions the most critical thing is getting the data, and getting data on engine out performance as well as an awesome entry is a great outcome today. There were lots of things happening in Mission Control but Starship flew through them and had an awesome landing. Tons to learn from ship and booster. It’s great to be flying again and to show off this new rocket. Thanks to everyone at @SpaceX working tirelessly to bringing the future to life, it’s awesome working alongside you all.
Today was awesome. It was also not unexpected for us. It’s part of the trajectory. We’ve been building the future one iteration at a time. Falcon 1 paved the way for Falcon 9, which taught us how to make Starship better. Now we continually learn from the wisdom of Falcon 9 and the rapid scaling of Starship.
We will put humans on the moon. Then we will put humans on Mars. There is no if. We will do it. There is no doubt.
My team, company, and our collective direction is the greatest because it’s for all humans. Including my kids, and their kids. I’m endlessly proud of that. 💙 🚀 Ad Astra ✊🏻 @SpaceX
Congrats and a huge thank you to the SpaceX team that always delivers. This was an incredible first flight of a brand new vehicle. Our collective future flying amongst the stars has become so much closer.
Marc Andreessen (@pmarca) on what it’s like to work at SpaceX:
“It’s like being dropped into a zone of shocking competence.”
“Everybody is ultra competent, and the reason everybody’s ultra competent is because if they’re not, Elon sniffs it out and fires them. He knows, ‘cause he’s talking to the people actually doing the work.”
“The best engineers in the world want to work for him, ‘cause he’s the one CEO like this who’s able to work with them as a peer on whatever the technology is.”
“What would be better as an engineer than being able to design a rocket engine with Elon Musk as your engineering partner?”
SpaceX is actively hiring world-class engineers/physicists for SpaceXAI, even if you have zero prior experience in AI. Smart humans figure it out fast.

These vehicles are the first of many – made possible by the tireless effort of SpaceX engineers and technicians – and are designed to enable the core revolutionary capabilities of Starship
