ONCE AGAIN - @GovParsonMO, please do not let Missouri execute

Women and men have been and will always be equal in the sight of God. The Dawning-Place of the Light of God sheddeth its radiance upon all with the same effulgence. Verily God created women for men, and men for women. - Baha'u'llah

“The purpose of religion as revealed from the heaven of God’s holy Will is to establish unity and concord amongst the peoples of the world; make it not the cause of dissension and strife. The religion of God and His divine law are the most potent instruments and the surest of all means for the dawning of the light of unity amongst men. The progress of the world, the development of nations, the tranquility of peoples, and the peace of all who dwell on earth are among the principles and ordinances of God. Religion bestoweth upon man the most precious of all gifts, offereth the cup of prosperity, imparteth eternal life, and showereth imperishable benefits upon mankind” (Baha’u’llah, Ninth Ishráq, 1885)
“The Great Being saith: O ye children of men! The fundamental purpose animating the Faith of God and His Religion is to safeguard the interests and promote the unity of the human race, and to foster the spirit of love and fellowship amongst men” (Baha’u’llah, Lawh-i-Maqsud, 1880-81)
“That one indeed is a man who, today, dedicateth himself to the service of the entire human race. The Great Being saith: Blessed and happy is he that ariseth to promote the best interests of the peoples and kindreds of the earth. In another passage He hath proclaimed: It is not for him to pride himself who loveth his own country, but rather for him who loveth the whole world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens” (Baha’u’llah, Lawh-i-Maqsud, 1880-81)

Marcellus Williams has spent 24 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. The State of Missouri now plans to execute Mr. Williams in 6 day’s time.
Today, I’m urging @GovParsonMO to halt this barbaric execution & grant Marcellus clemency.
If the community wants inmates to become good organic men and women who are capable of living in the free human fields of life again, it must start with believing that all people, even those incarcerated, are due HUMANE treatment.

When all mankind shall receive the same opportunity of education and the equality of men and women be realized, the foundations of war will be utterly destroyed... when women obtain equality of rights, war will entirely cease among mankind. - #AbdulBaha#Bahai#Women#Peace

Recently at Aspen Ideas, I mentioned that the Islamic Republic in Iran bans women from singing, claiming it arouses men. Shiama Moazzami, a nurse and singer whose uplifting videos for sick children went viral, revealed her absence from social media was due to “verbal warnings and threats.” from authorities. Women in Iran face severe restrictions on singing, dancing, and playing music. Imagine the beauty and talent that could flourish without these oppressive laws. That is why we, the women of Iran, are calling on all of you to join us in ending the gender apartheid regime.

"The more love is expressed among mankind and the stronger the power of unity, the greater will be this reflection and revelation, for the greatest bestowal of God is love. Love is the source of all the bestowals of God." — ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
