SM Touhid Tuhin, former General Secretary of the Rajshahi University Chhatra League, is currently being held in prison in a false and politically motivated case, which is entirely unlawful. He suffered severe leg injuries after being attacked and hacked by Jamaat-Shibir members. Despite spending a long time in custody, the lack of necessary medical treatment in prison has worsened his old injury significantly.

Given the current situation, this incident reflects the growing concerns about the state of the বিচার system under the BNP government. Legal processes are being used to suppress political dissent, while the humanitarian aspect is being completely ignored.

Providing medical care to a sick detainee is not an act of charity—it is a fundamental right. If that right is not ensured, then the very notion of justice becomes questionable.

The condition of SM Touhid Tuhin is not just an individual suffering; it represents a broader violation of justice and human rights under the BNP government.⁩

ভারত বাংলাদেশ সম্পর্ক উন্নয়ন করবে রিয়াজ হামিদুল্লাহ? আহা রে। বিএনপিআওয়ামী��ীগ এবং পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় নামক হাটহাজারি মাদ্রাসা রিয়াজ হামিদুল্লাহকে মনে করে এই বিশ্বব্রহ্মাণ্ডের সেরা কূটনীতিক। অথচ রিয়াজ হল এক জন ছদ্মবেশি জঙ্গি (জেহাদি/জঙ্গি অর্থ হল সুযোগ পেলে হিন্দুর কল্লা ফেলে দিতে প্রস্তুত)| আর ফরেন সেক্রেটারি সিয়াম হল একটা বিশুদ্ধ হাটহাজারী হুজুর। আপনি যদি এক জন আলোকিত মানুষ হন আপনি এমনিতেই বুঝবেন একটা ছদ্মবেশী জঙ্গি এবং একটা হাটহাজারির হুজুর দিয়�� কূটনীতি হয় না। রিয়াজ অবশ্য মোটা অংকের অর্থ কামাইয়ে পারঙ্গম। কিন্তু এই সব ডাফারকে দিয়ে কূটনীতির কোনও উন্নতি হবে না। ��িএনপি হয়তো কয় দিন পর রিয়াজকে পররাষ্ট্র সচিব করবে। করলেই আমি আনন্দিত হব। যারা বাংলাদেশের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের কার্যক্রম পর্যবেক্ষণ করতে চান তারা আমার সাথে থাকুন। এই মন্ত্রণালয়ের শিরাউপশিরা আমার চেয়ে কেউ ভাল বোঝে না--পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের ভেতরে বা বাইরে।

#UK MP @TulipSiddiq does not own any plot in Purbachal, yet she has been sentenced to two years in prison. The allegation is very interesting. The #ACC case charged that she had 'exerted influence using her authority as a British MP on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina' to secure plot allocations for her mother, siblings, and herself.

So, how exactly did she exert this influence?

Following the verdict, the ACC lawyer claimed that Tulip used WhatsApp and other 'internet apps' to communicate with Sheikh Hasina and her Private Secretary, Mohammad Salahuddin, to exert influence. The ACC, however, did not receive confirmation of this influencing through communication from either Sheikh Hasina or Salahuddin. Instead, they produced two witnesses in court, including Osman Ghani, who testified on the matter.

Everything in #Bangladesh is running this way now. The #Yunus government has crossed all limits of misrule.
