Time for an Axie thread.
I would like to point out and analyze some shortcomings in regards to web 3 approach and possible solutions for Axie Infinity.
I have played alot of card games in web 2 era, so I will make some comparisons here and there.

Another solution to the RPS meta in tourneys. Can we do round 1 RPS and then alternate turns after that? Coz going turn 1 or turn 2 also impacts how you pick your comps. #AxieEsports

I'm disappointed as this led to 1 less Filipino player in the Top 16 but I hope future tournaments aren't this brutal. If this happens to someone with a big name in the community, I wonder if things would turn out differently?

Axie Esports has not been around that long so it would be understandable that players can get too excited which can lead to oversight. But I think this simple mistake is too punishing especially if you're playing Axie for a living. 😢
