@dustinknight@YoDanno In short, yes.
The PDF version (which is the version I purchased - twice), contains two downloads:
1) The actual book
2) The maps
There are 96 total map images (jpg) which can be printed individually or in sections.
Is it ideal?
Probably not, but it's a *bargain* at $4.99.
@EpicPeasant@dustinknight@YoDanno I get what you're saying, but the POD can come with the PDF, and the PDF contains two downloads:
1) The actual book
2) The maps
There are 96 total map images (jpg) which can be printed individually or in sections.
Is it ideal? Eh. But it is a bargain for $11.49 (or $8.50)!
@davebfr Last week, I would have said no.
Today... man, I would seriously consider it.
But, what affect will that have on the locker room? And, would whatever replacement be a significant enough upgrade?
@TheBasicExpert1 There is a *lot* about 5e that I don't like, but I don't hate it.
While I prefer TSR-era editions, I can still appreciate 5e for some of the things it does well.
@Gingerblast I just wanted to let you know that 'The Halls of Arden Vul' is the deal of the day at DriveThruRPG today (2024/10/16).
It's still not "cheap" at $43.60, but it's a relative bargain for the 1,120 pages you get:
