#Cyanobacteria based experiment will study the growth of 2 Cyanobacterial strains on urea & nitrate as two different nitrogen sources, explore the carbon & nitrogen recycling in space and using these Cyanobacteria as Superfoods in space.
#Microalgae based experiment will investigate 3 edible microalgae species under microgravity conditions, their role in fixing CO₂ to food & O₂ , wastewater recycling, and using them as sustainable food food supplement for astronauts on long term space missions

This annual meeting reviews the R&D activities undertaken by #ICGEB laboratories and charts the course for future initiatives.
