@RidleyDM@she_obey Compromise to "win" an election, and honestly if we have to set aside our beliefs and morals what will have been won? There is nothing in history that would indicate men will improve their behavior when given power. Why believe he will stop being what he has shown himself to be?
@RidleyDM@she_obey I will ask you the same question I have asked others on here, without response: What issue would make you say that you could not vote for him? Is there an issue that would make you say "That is too far"? If not, you have no moral compass, if so then you are asking others to 1/2
@cumincoria@OthrVirginiaGuy@AllisonRFloyd So we cross our fingers and hope we elect another Robert Byrd and not another Strom Thurmond or John Fetterman? Your best hope is to vote him in and hope he turns out not to be who he has shown himself to be for his entire adult life?
@OthrVirginiaGuy@AllisonRFloyd Since Nazi symbolism and misogyny are not deal breakers for you, I wonder what issue would make a candidate unacceptable for you. If we sacrifice beliefs and morals to "win" an election what have we really won? We are supposed to stand up against these people, not vote for them.
@jeffintokyo1@TheSWPrincess If you spend any time in these spaces you will find it is a common tactic to point out that men are also victims, even when men are the overwhelming majority of perpetrators. In this case there was no gender discussion. You brought gender in and immediately centered male victims.
@LeeStarGlee@tepid_dog_water Any rape is problematic, SA against men needs to be addressed but not as a way of distracting from the fact that men are also the cause of the vast majority of SA. When men use male SA to distract from women's sexual assault they are the problem.
@LeeStarGlee@tepid_dog_water This person has managed to do exactly what he hoped - distract from the fact that over 90% of Sexual Assault, against adults or children are committed by men, over 90% of SA is against women, and over 80% of CSA is against girls. 1/2
@SeabassTheIncel@MizShannonS@LouisWoodhill What are the things that the man is withholding that have created an atmosphere where his significant other is not an enthusiastic participant in a sexual relationship? Love? Nurturing? Female sexual satisfaction? Partnership? Security, comfort, peace?
@LouisWoodhill@MizShannonS Men who are not willing to do the work of creating an atmosphere or environment for an enthusiastic sexual partner do not deserve sex.
A woman’s sex drive doesn’t work like a man’s. Sex being an option doesn’t make sex appealing. Even being turned on doesn’t make sex appealing by default. Until men realize that and learn what actually makes his wife desire sex, dead bedrooms are inevitable.
@SaaSyy_CFO@MizShannonS Why would you want to have sex with someone who is obligated instead of putting the work in to make sex something that is mutually desired?
@moto_motes@ArchLuminous The initial test saidt that she did not have to respond. She didn't, he then followed with multiple texts asking her to respond. He violated social norms by using business records to access personal information, and you expect her to follow social norms with a gentle rejection?
@moto_motes@ArchLuminous So we can respond after he gets violent? Women have no idea which men are going to react violently to rejection. He has access to whatever information is available in that company's data base, and has demonstrated a willingness to use it.
