The last few months have some public debate on the latest @Europarl_EN deforestation regulation. As a platform that has the unique ability to bring the most of the industry as well as civil society together, we have released a statement about the matter.
The statement reflects that the industry supports due diligence requirements that take into account smallholder livelihoods, a risk-based approach with jurisdictional traceability and capacity building to promote sustainable practices.
