I just left the ARC conference, where so many speakers lamented the decline of the West and attributed it to spiritual causes. I agree the West has a spiritual malady. It's called ingratitude. It's feeling entitled to the miracle all around us and thus miserable and empty.
"Is this all there is?" he texts from a lie-flat seat in the front on a 787 taking him across the world in a few hours. The message gets there fast because the plane is in near-constant contact with satellites that provide high-speed Internet literally anywhere and that you can't even outrun at 0.90 Mach.
We complain about spiritual decline while absolutely nothing prevents us from pursuing whatever spiritual path we want, or inviting people to come participate in one with us. There are zero impediments except our own willingness to see that we're in a living miracle and our own ingratitude.
Not one of the overwhelming majority of us will ever face actual food insecurity. We've never wondered if we'll need to boil our shoes to feed our children. We blame a world that gives us everything instead of realizing we're so entitled we won't even look for depth. We don't even have to get off the couch to find it, though maybe we should. It's in our phones if we'd just look.
I agree that there are elements of decline in the West, and that perhaps there are spiritual causes, but I think those start with each of us being unwilling to accept and be grateful for our inheritance and our incredible bounty.
I disagree that with the diagnosis, though, ultimately. We're doing amazing things people refuse to recognize, and we've been attacked by Western Marxist darkness until we've learned only to be critical about everything we have. We're not declining. We're being poisoned, and in our cushy ingratitude, we can refuse the tainted cup.
We as a society offer no incentive for women to develop a good character. We reward them for even their bad choices. Many of them end up being horrible individuals. Because why not?
But the women who are good people should be lauded because they have every incentive to not be. There is no consequence for not being a decent person for women.
Im not even angry about it. Im making an observation. Its sad. Its down right tragic. We have ruined our women.
@MrnllMtt Isn't the problem that the average life (what 50% of total resources will buy you) and median life (what the average person could experience) now differ so much? Also that advertising and social media allow us to see those other lifestyles - driven by female hypergamy.
This is women's current position: a game of chicken with civilization.
She's right. It's their nuclear option.
The problem is that they've already triggered it. Women have already stopped having children, and for what? Jobs and whorishness and voting?
Now they have no more leverage.
It is very distasteful to point out that women's consent is not required for their compliance. See Islam (which we are importing en masse). Historically, women have tolerated far more, and if it comes down to the death of the species or the rape of womankind, some category of men will choose the latter.
Clearly, men in more civilized countries aren't willing to do that. They are choosing death, but there are billions of uncivilized men who have no such moral distaste for rape.
Women seem to think that they could hold this threat over our heads forever. They did, for nearly a century, and now the men who respect women are rapidly being replaced by men who will happily enslave them. Turns out this was a bad negotiation.
This all seems to be a ploy to link IP addresses and online activity directly to an identifiable person to make them easier to catch and track down. The government falsely assumed that everyone watches porn and they thought they would get everyone that way. It obviously did not work as well as they were hoping so they are now expanding it. (I have always said that initial laws are just a foot in the door, those laws will always be expanding after the fact into their true original intended purpose).
So their plan now is if you want to use any social media or much of the internet in any way, you will need to prove that you are over 18 which means submitting an ID. This will require far far more ID submissions which will massively expand the government database, which was the real plan all along, not the safety of children.
The funniest thing about this is after all the fuss about the Online Safety Act, this blanket ban on kids using social media pretty much renders the entire act pointless and made it a giant waste of time. Which to be honest, proves that the act was never about protecting children but was really about building a giant database that links all online activity directly to a person.
This database would then be constantly poured over by AI to flag "citizens of concern" to the government who may be potential political dissidents, saying naughty anti-government things etc so the government can pre-emptively act against them.
Minority Report. This is literally the plot of Minority Report.
Hey, @elonmusk, really serious about turning around fertility rates? Convince your merchant class and the financial class to stop hiring women. That is all. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
And yes, I said what I said.
This CIA gold con officer story is getting more and more peculiar every day.🕵
But what’s really interesting about the story is that the publicity surrounding it is helping to normalise some uncomfortable realities that might otherwise be very hard for ordinary people to absorb. It’s like a limited hangout or revelation of the method in its own right, one the press can’t help but lean into because it’s just too man bites dog to ignore.
Some of the stuff it seems to point to:
1) the CIA can be infiltrated at the highest level by “master manipulators” aka conmen. (But doesn’t every spy novel and movie teach us that spies are just government licensed conmen and that the risk with working with accomplished conmen is that they have a tendency to constantly sell eachother out or flip sides, unless you have leverage over them?)
So what’s the signal here really? Is it that Rush is a conman who infiltrated the CIA or is it that the CIA has an infiltration problem at the highest level?
2) the preferred currency for shadow ops is gold and luxury (presumably swiss) watches. But where does this gold come from? How is this financing pipeline secured and funded? How do you just source $40m of gold? Does the CIA have its own secret stash of gold or even a parallel Treasury funded by operationally sourced loot?
What’s the signal here? It seems, at least superficially, to point to the fact that undermoney is real.
As per the Jay Newman novel, undermoney is money that connects politics, hedge funds, private capital pools, money laundering networks, oligarchs, criminal organizations, and geopolitical actors.
3) there are so many secret cells aka “special access programs” that we can’t even be sure many of them are serving the public interest. More so the system that creates them can be easily corrupted.
What’s the signal here? Perhaps it’s that SAPs are not just super common but that they are impossible to account for in the normal way. That means the secrecy shroud designed to deflect the enemy can itself be exploited by nefarious interests that act against the agency’s (ie America’s) own interest.
If some of the most top secret SAPs are fake, what does “fake” even mean in this context? In a wilderness of mirrors the only thing that differentiates a fake SAP from a legit SAP is likely intent or agenda. Aka an agenda to help the enemy instead of the public, or worse still, to use the SAP for one’s own personal profit or political agenda and/or that of criminal networks or factional ideological groups you are associated with.
There are certainly more questions than answers. But it’s the second order signals that are currently most interesting.

This is the most sober and sobering analysis of AI investing that I have seen. The cannibalizing the passive flows in idices has been buzzing in my head for weeks now...

Recent algorithm changes on X may be unfairly hammering Brave users. And there's a larger issue here about bad interactions between robots and privacy measures.
@nikitabier@brave
My friend Jay Maynard, who some of you may know as Tron Guy, just got permabanned off X for "inauthentic behavior". His appeal was swiftly denied.
Jay is not a spammer, scammer or engagement farmer; he is, in fact, exactly the kind of good citizen X says it wants. Jay asked Gemini for analysis, and now thinks he knows what happened.
Brave, as a privacy measure, randomly changes the identity presented to sites in order to avoid tracking by the ad vampires. Gemini suggested that some code at X interpreted this as spammy behavior using multiple browsers. If so - and this does seem plausible - everybody trying to protect their privacy with Brave is at risk.
This is a general problem, not just an X glitch or a Brave issue. Social media sites are increasingly relying for security on forms of heuristic AI that are prone to unacceptably high false-positive rates.
More specifically, platforms are increasingly treating a user's refusal to be tracked, fingerprinted, and categorized as a hostile act. When a site makes it impossible to connect via a privacy-focused user agent without getting flagged as a malicious bot, it stops being "security" and effectively becomes a retaliatory lockout for protecting oneself.
Worse yet, such system architecture provides no circuit breaker - humans are only rarely and exceptionally asked review for errors. Jay's appeal denial came back so fast that it was obvious no meat-brain ever saw it. He has filed complaints within the Minnesota Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau, because what else can he do? The robots have locked him out.
Badly designed robots and zeal to squeeze human oversight out of the system forces regular citizens to rely on state law enforcement or consumer protection bureaus.
Allow me to gently suggest to the people running X that unless you want politicians poking their noses into your business and imposing constraints on you that you are not going to like, you need to fix your security and appeal processes so running to the law isn't necessary.
Enjoy!

Sports go way deeper than people realize. Women are not designed to be competitive, not in the way men are. Not even slightly adapted for it. Not even moderately. It's foreign to them. The competing sex is the T-gated dimorphic male.
The mass push for girls' sports is a form of modern indoctrination. The lesson that women should be competitive. That might be the fundamental sin.
It trickles down into suburban culture. Indoctrinated, competitive moms fill the schedule and make children's sports the territorial mission, something on the level of religion in its importance, its commitment, its faith.
Relationships with other families are defined by sports. Not by religion. Not by ethnicity. Sports.
Which makes sports more dangerous than anyone admits, for girls especially. It's definitely a contributor to the fertility crisis. Too busy competing, too busy driving, unable to handle more than one or two to fill the sports-excellence quota.
To all the guys and gals reindustrializing, I strongly urge you to understand this.
This is a real Stasi-esq move while China floods the U.S. with additive and subtractive machines with ‘phone home’ IP grabbing capabilities.
You will need approval to run G-Code and you will not be permitted to air-gap.
They branded these girls with their initials.
They forced them to have sex with dogs and filmed it and played it back to them to humiliate them.
They held up their cross necklaces after gang raping them and said “Why has your god abandoned you?”
They were children.
Vaccines are so "safe & effective" placebo studies are "unethical" and banned. CDC has a database to compare but wouldn't release it.
RFK pushed to open it so the CDC deleted it
Here's the real data that shows vaccines increase chronic illness by 3-10X

Absolute bombshell. Prominent economist Richard Werner confirms the 1997 Asian financial crisis was completely engineered.
He reveals the IMF deliberately bankrupted Thailand to force them into selling off their national industries to foreign elites for pennies!
