Funny how the law worked perfectly well up to about 10 years ago. And 10 years before that. Women used women's spaces and men used men's spaces. And we all knew that if a bloke tried to get into women's spaces he was a wrong'un. And he got terfed out.
131 MPs have now signed my motion to stand up for trans people and stop the EHRC's Draft Code of Practice coming into force.
For it to succeed, the motion needs to be debated and voted on, so I asked the government if it will allocate time. Unfortunately the Leader of the House did not make that commitment.
We will continue to press for a debate and a vote. Please encourage your MP to sign EDM 240.
SPAIN:
A record 37.5% of 2026 femicide victims had filed prior complaints or requested protection orders.
The figures mark the highest percentage since tracking began in 2003.
Well I'm sure it's a laudable project but your average working class person won't have the time to read it. And I put my faith in their ability to see the king's got no clothes and so bring down the whole bollox long before analysing Butler does the trick.
Everybody must read this.
I have been thinking for a while now that we have to pull Butler apart and lay her hollow theories bare, but she's just so dense and unbearable. Intentionally so.
A fraud's best friend is confusion and an inability to pin her down.
Henry Ergas has started unraveling her in the @Australian, and it is a great read.
Highly recommend.

@ThatAussieWoman Almost all post-modernist theory is, by its nature, unfalsifiable and unevidenced claims that sound kind of cool to undergrads and anti-establishment types. Which is fine as intellectual masturbation. Just not when it tries to become an organising principle of society.

@FondOfBeetles I love science, what an amazing role model in #STEM you are. This is applied science at its best. I look forward to hearing and seeing you on the sports panel at the @WomensRightsNet National Conference on 5 July 2026

Hello all. A quick update from me.
My sex screen assay is progressing well.
I promised rapid: I can detect SRY from a cheek swab in about 30 minutes. I am currently testing whether I can drop it to 10 minutes without compromising reliability.
I promised cheap: The current cost per assay is about £2. I am currently testing whether I can drop this to below the pound line, and it’s very promising.
I promised accessible: The assay could be run by any grassroots sports coach, school nurse, and my Mum.
I promised on-site: This is where my lab efforts are currently focussed. I’ve always held “from the UK to Uganda” as a principle, and ensuring easy deployment is crucial. I’m currently learning a lot of materials science…
The other main push is setting up various blinded, larger-scale tests. This will require lots of form filling.
If anyone wants to help me hit my final budget target, my crowdfunder is here.
@DisRightsUK you're a disgrace. Like other charities purporting to campaign to make lives better for disabled people, you care more about the feelings of men being told NO than about your core clients - people really struggling in a world pitted against them. #thelawisthelaw
