If you want to know why it’s 100+ degrees everywhere. WAR. BOMBS. CHEMICAL AGENTS. FIRES. OIL LEAKS. TOXINS IN THE WATER. DEFORESTATION. REMOVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS.
MAN. GREED. IGNORANCE.
Notice how the people who deny global warming are those who are creating it for greed?
Please contact Regina Romero regarding #Snuggles.
Please ask her for a reasonable solution for Snuggles and not to euthanize him.
Snuggles should be reunited with his family rather than being jailed.

can someone PLEASE tell me when did “if you work full-time you should be able to comfortably afford shelter, food and utilities” become an extreme leftist belief ??
Animal rights is at a turning point.
There have been three pieces in the @nytimes opinion pages over the last couple weeks on cruelty to animals, including two by among the most influential columnists of our generation, @NickKristof and @ezraklein.
Ridglan is closing down, and all the dogs should soon be freed! I just posted this to our rescuer network.
This would not have happened without our supporters on social media. Y'all were a key part of this—and will be a key part of the victories to come!
PSA‼️
this is ANIMAL ABUSE! any celebrities using big cats or even any dangerous predators are endorsing animal abuse. they are heavily drugged and mistreated by the people who own them for profit!
STOP USING ANIMALS AS PROPS‼️
Oh my god I hate Trump. This will overpower shelters and cause so much more animal cruelty and harm to humans who rely on animals for their mental health.
I believe this is exactly why animal agriculture must be confronted, not hidden from view. Sentient beings deserve compassion, and we cannot keep looking away from their suffering.
Taxpayer dollars should never support facilities that abuse animals like Ridglan Farms.
While we work toward stronger protections for animals used in research, NIH can act right now to stop funding facilities with serious animal welfare violations.
That’s why 34 bipartisan members of Congress urged @SecKennedy to strengthen NIH policy and ensure what happened at Ridglan Farms never happens again.
We introduced the PAAW Act to prohibit the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from conducting or funding research causing significant pain or distress to dogs and cats.
These experiments, often hidden from public view and conducted with little oversight, include:
❌ Injecting dogs with cocaine and methamphetamine
❌ Intentionally infesting puppies with ticks and biting flies
❌ Inducing heart failure in dogs and cats
❌ Forcing beagles to swallow experimental drugs
❌ Intentionally breeding sick and deformed dogs and cats for abuse in inhumane and deadly testing
❌ Exposing animals to noxious stimuli which they cannot avoid/escape
❌ Forcing animals into long-term physical restraints, sometimes lasting weeks, with no escape
This isn’t just animal cruelty, it’s bureaucratic cruelty, paid for by the American taxpayers. If the NIH won’t do the right thing on its own, we will make them.
The Tr*mp administration is sacrificing our national forests, fresh drinking water, animals, people, & anything else they deem “inconsequential,” all so they can profit. It’s disgusting.
Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but we are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian.
Your religion guides you, not all of us. It’s as simple as that.
WHY are we spraying Glyphosate & killing ALL the vegetation for logging now? It also POISONS the Living Creatures of the Forest! Deforestation is bad enough! #Unconscionable!
It’s $5 Friday!
There is a lot of focus on the Ridglan Beagles which makes us happy.
BUT there are also beagles stuck in kill shelters.
This week we rescued Hank, Willie & Waylan to make sure they get the life they deserve.
Each will cost about $300 to vet.
If you can help, we thank you!

🚨 MARSHALL BIORESOURCES—TOP BUYER LIST—~23K Dogs🚨
Remember, there are 3 parts to this horrific outdated and ineffective practice:
> The Regulator (USDA)
> The Breeder (Marshall)
> The Buyer (Labs & Universities)
1) The Regulator—USDA inspection reports and complaints have documented repeated issues over the years, including inadequate housing, sanitation problems, and veterinary care shortfalls. Activists have filed multiple formal complaints with USDA APHIS citing whistleblower evidence. However, most violations have been treated as “non-critical” and corrected, so Marshall continues to operate under active federal licenses.
2) The Breeder—Marshall BioResources in North Rose, New York is the largest remaining commercial breeder of beagles and purpose-bred dogs for laboratory research in the United States, with ~23,000 dogs on site at any given time.
3) The Buyer—Supply + demand ends when buyers stop. This is the part that gets the least attention.Marshall exists because someone is buying.
Marshall is far more secretive, so this focuses on the most documented / high-volume / repeated users. Rise for Animals has identified more than 100 U.S. labs.
New column note: I added an “Experiment Types” column because many of these procedures are graphic in nature. This helps people understand the full picture of what is happening to these dogs.
(There was also a documented cannabis study on 40 eight-month-old puppies from Marshall where 7 died.)
So if you want to HELP, then you can direct your energy somewhere that actually matters, get to work and start asking those institutions:
> Do you use dogs in your research?
> Do you source from Marshall or breeders like them?
> Which grants are funding this work?
> What is your plan to stop?
Contact:
> Office of Research
> IACUC (animal care & use committee)
> Compliance/ethics offices
> Leadership
Yelling into the social media abyss moves the needle very little, so use the power each one of us has.
Use your voice, and your brain, to make a difference. ❤️🩹🐶💪

I went to jail for saving the Ridglan dogs.
Now I’m facing 12 years in prison.
My mom was terrified when I was arrested. But when she saw the beagles at Ridglan, she understood why I couldn’t stand by.
Should rescuing dogs from corporate abuse be a crime?
