@RPowerfantastic@vicderbyshire No evidence the boy is lying or wrong, but somehow you can see through the description while he didn't. Carry on living in your fantasy world where women never commit sexual abuse.
@RedGreenDevon1@vicderbyshire I thought 'you could always tell'? That is what the poor kid reported - he met them, you didn't. Most women aren't over 6 foot, but some women are. Most women don't rape boys either, but some women do.
@AdrianD444@spectator She was trafficked for sex, there isn't an age limit for being trafficked. Ask any of the women who have been rescued from brothels around the country.
@NateHine1@sapphixy It's visible to the child, though, that outrage when they are used to tolerating as 'normal' their parent's awful behaviour. A quiet word means little if the behaviour itself doesn't change.
@wildtrailflow @RottenInDenmark It's old fashioned and assumes women don't work. There is much more to a good dad than someone who doesn't have his credit card maxed out on the first date, this is why we have brains and social etiquette as well as instincts.
@RottenInDenmark First date, a pub or cafe, not an expensive meal. No problem either way then. Would always assume 50:50 with someone I didn't know, to avoid 'expectations', and say before ordering. Remember the guy who billed a woman for a coffee because she didn't want to see him again?
@LordPagliarello @raniawrites Except that one date that didn't work out 8 years ago isn't enough for her to give him a reference for a job, is it. Which is the point she was making, that they barely knew each other. But at first glance, it is not like attention to detail is his thing, is it.
@GrumpyGit1960@BBCLeicester That's just one bit of it. Fiveways is being completely redeveloped, the bit where Fosse Road N joins Groby Road, Woodgate, Buckminster Road and Blackbird Road is the major bit. That's going on for the rest of the year.
@HemanttBhatia@BBCLeicester We'll see, personally I disagree. The Rally Park bridge gives the option for kids to safely walk to school. The exit to the school is Garland Crescent, it will be busy there, but it won't overload the traffic on Fosse Road N like earlier designs with an exit opposite Central Rd.
@GrumpyGit1960@BBCLeicester At the end of the path there is a junction where people can cross the road if they need to. That part of Fosse Road was horrible for cyclists esp during rush hour and now they are out of the way of cars.
@sarahpurplee@BBCLeicester There are lights at the bottom of Stephenson Drive (on the other side of the bridge from where the photo was taken). Cyclists and pedestrians can cross the road there. The other side of the road is also shared pavement.
@BBCLeicester I think they've done a great job. The lights at the bottom of Stephenson Drive will help a lot with the traffic flow (and with people being able to get out of Central Road too). Hopefully it will manage the volume of traffic and the air pollution a lot more effectively.
@philbc3 Asks rhetorical question of 'lefties' who object to Starmer's positions on party democracy, trans, migrants, the characterisation of Labour as 'real conservatives'... Restricts who can respond to his tweet.
@a_h_reaume Isn't it a follow on from the 'women need privacy to wash their mooncup in the sink' tweets of a few weeks ago? I wonder if they have ever asked a single man whether men routinely do this in public toilets.
@paxton_rogue They're not being 'returned', the plan was to dump them in Rwanda. Perhaps don't talk about appalling hypocrisy and dishonesty while this govt abandoned so many who supported us in Afghanistan, who are now being hunted down and murdered.
