Great collection. A lot from Penguin. Several of those are in the public domain. I always feel sad when I see a public domain book published by Penguin with their standard copyright claims. Penguin has made so much money with public domain books that they could be a bit more grateful about it.
Human <-> AI <-> Human
Whether we like it or not, most human interactions will eventually be mediated by AI. It will eliminate much of the miscommunication that naturally occurs between people by translating intent, clarifying meaning, and smoothing over misunderstandings.
Over time, we may become so accustomed to AI-assisted communication that interacting directly with other humans feels less efficient, less predictable, and perhaps even more difficult.
It's not a future I'm particularly excited about, but it seems increasingly inevitable.
@miguelgbandeira I love it there specially from September to November. I can imagine April to June also nice but then sea water temperatures will be lower than in October.
(Desculpa contactar desta maneira).
I didn’t expect this to be the feature I’d miss most after moving from Cursor to Codex: a daily activity graph for AI usage.
Lines, tokens, sessions, prompts, anything. I just want to see the rhythm of how much I’m building with AI.
Super nice. I can imagine this could eventually be expanded to include other types of deals as well.
There are so many “boring” products that we buy regularly, like soap, toothpaste, detergent, and other household basics. I often wonder how much we could save over a quarter if we bought these products only when they were discounted.
It could be really interesting to track those recurring products and show the potential savings over time.
@dgrcode@EntireHQ I’m on codex as well. It took me way too long to give it Full Access. Should have it done earlier. Also since I start using Chat I no longer use ChatGPT.
@levelsio@amanfromsolan@benjaminshafii Actually I think Pieter has a very personal style/esthetics. (Information dense, raw look) Not all websites should look the same.
@HenrM_Cruz Have you thought how crazy it is that for decades you can call a number and in less than 30 minutes a pizza will be baked and delivered to your door for less than 30 euros, while a pair of jeans takes 24 hours and costs 100+ euros?
