We were small but mighty passionate about our Bitcoin staking protocol, and dedicated to its success.

Now is the beginning of 2025, and Babylon is now a team of 40+, $6B TVL.

Bitcoin made two perpetual credible commitments:
a) There are only 21M Bitcoin
b) You own your Bitcoin

2. Onchain dex.
a) You get the best price from the free market.

a) As a lender, you can be sure that if the borrower is under collateralized, they will be liquidated.

a) Take rate is guaranteed less than 10% perpetually.

2. Social
a) You own your friendship graph.
b) You can always talk to your friends (censorship resistance)

3. Recruitment signals
a) Lets student / employees applicant communicate scarce signals to colleges / employers (you are my favorite college / a top-3 employer).
-> This solves the problem of "how to take into account real interest" in recruitment rather than "using college visit logs" etc

4. Gaming
a) Common pool of rewards that are paid to tournament winners.

5. Marketplaces
a) Take rate < 10%
b) Open composability
c) Allow an open market of escrow / arbitrators on top.

6. Identity
a) Anyone who has an ID with an existing online ID provider (like SSN, DMV, Aadhar, etc) will be able to ID themselves.

7. Nonprofits
a) Committed transparency on all fund movements into the non-profit.

8. AI
a) Model data providers get x% of the total value created
b) Builders can build on top of others models.
c) AI controlled by the human DAO
