@ChiefEngineerCE Where is the talk about TN visa abuse? Asians, mostly from China and also India get rejected or not extended for H-1B visas so they go to Canada and get fast tracked for Canadian citizenship and then quickly get hired in the USA with TN visas, is that not abuse?
@Crime_In_NYC Also remove apartment rental brokers and lower the qualifications for legal renters. Centralize apartment leasing offices similar to what other cities do to lower rental costs
@urbanresidue@NYPDnews@NYCMayor@NYCDisabilities Poor planning and management leads to inconvenience but the politicians will state that is what makes "NYers tough" so that is why inconvenience is accepted. If you can't get around the barricades then you are not "NY tough".
@NYCMayor The precautions should include maintaining and pruning the trees that have large brittle branches and leaves. The tree species of American Basswood is a forest tree not an urban tree and is hazardous in bad weather but it is planted EVERYWHERE in NYC why?
@endpointarena Subway platform air is bad but have you investigated the locked and bolted down windows on @mta buses. Bus air conditioning can not keep the packed buses cool in high temperatures and the germs and smell of weed and other bad odors can not escape with bolted down windows.
@GovKathyHochul The Olympic Committee has already selected the next 2 winter olympic locations for France and Salt Lake City so what is the purpose of exploring this now?
@FrankieBorrelli Traveling to this event is inconvenient, 1 day ticket prices are $270 minimum for a grounds pass. However this year's location is perfect for the upper class and wealthy that spend their summer weekends in this part of NY.
@mcuban @AirbagTea @RandyWKirk1 Algorithms influence elections as you stated but PACS and lobbyists influence EVERYTHING that politicians legislate and vote on. That is why you have given $$ to Citizens United. What is the sense of people voting if their reasons to vote are outweighed by PACS and lobbyists?
@CurtisSliwa Of the estimated and possible 2 million? Knicks fans at the parade today how many of them are able to go to a Knicks game? Many of the Knicks tickets are for corporations and businesses and prices are going to be higher now, so why so many Knicks fans?
@mcuban@elonmusk The stock market is rigged. Jane Street Capital, Citadel and others pay large amounts of $$ for their employees to write software codes that push high frequency trading in their favor.
Thursday there will be heavy thunderstorms and there are many streets that still have not had large broken tree branches removed from the last storm. @NYC_DOT@nycparks@NYCSanitation Expect major damage and street hazards Thursday. @NYCMayor@PIX11News
We won our case against the Trump administration for trying to destroy the H-1B visa program.
Thousands with these visas serve New Yorkers as doctors, teachers, and other skilled workers.
I'll keep fighting to protect them and our immigrant communities.

High prices for most MSG events is nothing new. Corporations and businesses give out tickets to their employees and partners for free all year for Knicks and Rangers leaving the ticket supply short and high priced for fans. Go to another city to watch Knicks and Rangers
@sidrosenberg19@NYCMayor@POTUS The large barricades and fencing around MSG shows that NYPD can not provide crowd safety. A fully capable police force would not have to enclose MSG as if it were a lion cage in a zoo. Trump has nothing to do with this, it is about crowds of Knicks fans.
@NYCMayor Flushing Meadow Park is packed with immigrants without work visas playing soccer, barbecues, volleyball. You as NYC Mayor should direct them to get trained on tree maintenance because large trees are hazardous especially the American Basswood species.
