@Strandjunker The corporations that funded Chinese manufacturing have no one but themselves to blame for turning China into a global manufacturing giant.
@Schizointel This is not a valid comparison. Spanish rail systems are used 20 times more for personal transportation than US systems ever were. We could use one in the States.
@NickLovesSpain I lived in Spain for 3 years a long time ago. I find good bottles of Rioja here in CA for $20 or less. Costco has really good ones for $10 each. You canโt go wrong with a Rioja.
@costsofwar1 Point being this all is very relevant now. Divided country, politics used as an excuse to justify your actions. The only thing that stops them is knowing more people holding them accountable. I guess that starts with me too.
@costsofwar1 I lived in Spain as a kid from78 to 81. Even at that point, there were lots of grandparents that remembered Franco. Half of them loved him the other did not. The young generation wanted democracy but they hated NATO. There was a coup attempt in their senate chambers there too.
@QuietMia Oh donโt worry, pensions and SS depend greatly on the health of the fund. When it gets cut guess what happens ? You get less money on a monthly basis.
