We rarely put African sculptures, masks, carvings, or paintings in our own homes. Then we get angry when we see them in the British Museum.
At the same time, many of us still fill our spaces with things brought in through colonization. That does not line up.
If we actually used our own art in our interiors, the demand would be here. Artists and makers would earn from it.
The conversation about where the pieces belong would make more sense, because we would already be treating them as part of how we live, not only as something we defend after someone else takes them.
A high-rise building in Eastleigh, Nairobi came down in ~5 seconds.
I reconstructed the collapse from eye witness video using computer vision, physics +AI, a digital twin model and Bayesian networks to establish the preliminary cause of collapse.

“Why are you eating Spaghetti right now when we have our Potatoes from Kabale?”
Why are you frying everything at home in such austerity measure times ?
Ladies and gentlemen. The message is getting clearer from the Leadership
A man spends his life working.
He builds houses, buys land, and continues acquiring more wealth.
Though he can afford the comforts of life, he denies himself many of them, unwilling to part with what he has worked so hard to acquire.
Then one day, death visits him.
Before his body even begins to rot, the properties he spent his life protecting are sold.
Those who inherit his wealth, having paid nothing to acquire it, freely spend the proceeds on luxuries he had spent his life denying himself.
He sacrificed his comfort to preserve his wealth, only for others to consume his wealth for their comfort.
All is vanity.
Btw if you don't have space for mundane conversations and (awkward) silences then real love isn't for you.
All forms of relationships have such moments, but you cherish them because of the person you are with.
Morgan Freeman was not wrong when he said, "Become a man who can face a breakup. lose a job. deal with debt and still say, ‘God is with me. I’ll figure it out."

The other day Agora released names of people who benefited from recruitment irregularities at Parliament & it was predominantly Acholi & Iteso but no one reduced the discussion to tribes. Why is everyone whining now? Because of a few individuals with long faces & sharp noses?

This costing is fundamentally flawed.
For a 200 km road, with solar street lights installed on both sides at the recommended 20 m spacing, you require 20,000 installations.
A single-arm solar street light, inclusive of the 10 m pole and installation, costs at least USD 4,000 (considering the acceptable standards used for road construction not garden solar lights)
20,000 × USD 4,000 = USD 80 million (UGX 320 billion).
That’s TEN TIMES your UGX 32 billion estimate.
Infrastructure costing requires more than multiplying road length by the price of a light fitting.
