@CaitlinJustini I think it’s interesting that when we switch to the new schedule in September, they purposely have the first topic for the month be “Your body is Sacred”. I also think it’s interesting that you can’t even open the previous For Strength of Youth anymore in the app.

I first listened to this truly prophetic speech decades ago, but I’ve thought about it countless times since then
Neal A. Maxwell masterfully diagnosed the problems with our increasingly godless society
@CaitlinJustini Very cool. Where did you move to? I had a sort of similar cool experience in our Stake a few weeks ago. Being in the High Council, I was invited to an interview with Elder Takashi Wada when they reorganized our Stake Presidency. Grateful to be considered and not selected!
In times of peace or turmoil, there is always hope in Jesus Christ because of his greater love for all. As we approach Easter, hear a special message about God’s love and what it means for each of us from President Dallin H. Oaks (@OaksDallinH) and his counselors (@EyringHB and @ChristoffDTodd) in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Day 20: Finisher of My Faith
“Jesus Christ is the Finisher of My Faith--Of course, He is the Author of my faith but recently I have seen that Jesus Christ is, in very concrete ways, the Finisher of My Faith.
“God has helped me through the tests and trials of life, but I always felt, if there was a mountain to move, I could pick up a shovel and do my part. This was different. Sometimes what I could do wasn’t enough. There were blessings and tender mercies but I still found myself short of the finish line and at the end of my strength. I learned to pray in a new way, saying, Dear Lord, I’ve done what I can do and it’s not enough. Please finish this task or make this decision for me. None of it became easy but, in my extremity, once or twice, I saw the Lord’s hand pick me up and carry me over the finish line when I could do no more.
“God be thanked for the Gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, the Finisher of my Faith.”

@DaveRamsey Trains young people’s brains to believe in the insidious idea that you can something for nothing. Destroys work ethic. Evil activity. I despise gambling with every ounce of my being.
SEC 2-5 in bowl games. Notre Dame’s best win (USC) just lost to BYU’s 4th best win. BYU ended up beating five 9 win teams and potentially two 10 win teams if Arizona wins their bowl game. If Utah wins, an 11 win team. Thoughts?@KirkHerbstreit
BYU was apparently unworthy to be even considered as a CFP at-large team. This is their current resume. (* still has bowl game)
W vs 10-2 Utah *
W at 9-3 Arizona *
W vs 9-4 TCU
W vs 9-4 GA Tech
W at 9-4 ECU
W at 8-4 Iowa State
W at 7-5 Cincinnati *
L(2) vs 12-1 Texas Tech
BYU honestly may have been the most underrated team of all-time, and I’m not exaggerating.
@colincowherd This is an embarrassing take Colin. USC was tired of taking their yearly beating from ND and wanted to increase their win total. So obvious.
