The amount of time it will take to overcheck, revise, & eventually decide to turn away from a broken AI CAD model absolutely dwarfs simply making it yourself.

Errors that you didn’t even know existed are going to show up weeks later in FEA and CFD, after you’ve already lost your mind thinking the stress results are “artifacts, I guess”.

Cons outweigh the pros. I think AI CAD (unless some output error tolerance drastically changes, which I don’t expect to happen ever based on empirical data over the past 4 years plus understanding how LLMs work) will at best make pretty renderings that no one bothers digging into.
