@ThommyTox I also wouldn’t group rattlesnakes and copperheads/cottonmouths together on a management type reference. There can be some overlap, but typically the manifestations will be different along with treatment goals and management.
patient. Most adults titrate GLP-1 RAs up. So there is a significant chance that the child would have GI effects, including vomiting, from receiving such a large dose. We know the half life is long so the effects would be expected to be long as well. We can treat vomiting
Finally, we have multiple sources of data to extrapolate from, including trials from older children who take these therapeutically for weight loss. When you have an exposure such as this, you take everything from the last paragraph into account and individualize it for the
@ThommyTox It isn’t. Previously, if it was paused then you had to be in service to reactivate it which could be a pain (if your primary was out or you were in a dead zone). You can still text and even voice call over the 500k. Lol, I remember when 500k was a dream come true.
@ThommyTox Previously, you were able to if you had the roam plan. However, they changed it last week. Now they charge 5.00 a month to keep it in standby mode which will give you low speed data (500k or so down). Then, you can activate a roam plan when you need it.
@ID_AA_Carmack Absolutely. I recall an old speed chart on dslreports that had 300k recommended for the fastest online games (with reasonable ping). I’m not sure that I have ever been as happy as when I saw the flyer from my cable company stating they were offering 256 and 512k service, lol.
@ThommyTox We did. I wish I could recall the exact numbers like the platelets but I can’t. I also don’t think we had hypofibrinogenemia as an option in TESS-it may have defaulted to other coagulopathies? It has been 3 years so don’t quote me on that.
@ThommyTox Definitely interesting and could have been the reason. There was no previous exposure. I was primarily speculating as the vast majority of timber rattlesnakes envenomation I handled did pretty well. I often saw platelets of 0, but never saw any significant bleeding.
