College football has committed itself to transitioning from being a completely unique and fun alternative to the NFL with its own character to being a shitty NFL knock off that dispenses with all that was great about CFB and replaces it with none of what is great about the NFL
@RivianTrackr I came to the opposite conclusion. The more data, and ways to confirm the data is correct, the more confidence the system can have in its path. Certainly requires a cost benefit analysis, but if LIDAR is cheap enough, I don’t see why not. Plus every car gathers ground truth data.
@BudElliott3@Nolecast I don't know how you could keep talking about a program like this. Crazy to think how exciting it all seemed at the beginning of the year for it to end up like this.
Have to give a shoutout to @Rivian Orlando Service Center. They have short waits for slots and they got me in 2 days before and solved the dash rattle in 45 minutes while I waited. This is my 3rd Rivian and the smoothest experience I’ve ever had with service.
The wake game was exactly the fools gold I figured it might be. Back to the undisciplined mess that’s been most of the year and all of last. A shame that it hasn’t worked out for plenty of reasons, but the climb is completely and totally over.
@JCameronShow I don’t think the AD, or any single person, at FSU is authorized to make a call that results in $60+MM in expenses. He actually might be more than ready to fire Norvell, but that pretty much requires BoT level agreement to do that.
@settleml92 I agree. No one wanted to lose our coach to Alabama, and it looked like he had things figured out at that point. The next 2 seasons have been a shocking turn of events after it seemed like we had a solidly positive trajectory.
@skipfoster On the flip side, it appears this isn’t going to work out and delaying the inevitable also delays the rebuild, and FSU can’t afford to let this decline further. Other than the Alabama win, not much farther down to even go, though.
