One of the reasons I stuck by Amorim until the end in spite of the terrible results was because he understood the root of the problems and was working to fix them.

The risk United took when that blew up was that they’d never address the root causes (confined to inside the club with this ownership - that is the true root cause) and it’s now becoming evident their issues have returned to the surface.

Unfit. Mentally fragile. Confused set up. The same old problems that have dogged them for years.

Big accounts will be scared to say this but I'm going to say it;

Carrick is NOT the man to take Man Utd back to the very top.

He did a fantastic job steadying the ship last season, but any serious club would've thanked him, wished him well, and stuck with the plan of getting a top-level manager to take it up from there.

Before positive toxic fans start saying it's just 5 games into the season, please know that I said this last season before Carrick was given the job permanently.

He's a club legend whom we all love, but we must put sentiments aside and speak the truth which is that he is not the man. The job is obviously bigger than him.

This shite is on INEOS for taking the cheaper option to save cash instead of getting a top manager.
