In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
@RdB_v7@Norsca_warrior@gabefollower Have a feeling Yamato new look will coincide with hero skins/ you will be able to switch between her old & new look.
Once again, I feel really lucky. But I have to be honest;
We have been a bit overwhelmed with the response, and I mean it literally.. it feels like we’ve spent our whole time fighting bottom feeder cheaters and constant DDOS attacks…
On top of which, with the sheer amount of physical and mental exhaustion from the last few weeks.. we decided to take a bit of a reset- not everyone but a good chunk of the team have been forced to use holiday this week. Thats why we’ve been “officially” quieter.. during said holidays, most people had to work a fair bit!
I hope you don’t see this as resting on our laurels but instead see it as us finishing a sprint and taking a breather to prepare for a marathon.
We feel a bit out of control with how big things have gone and how much extra security we have been forced to do. But I still believe in our plan and ask you to believe in our team.
The next part of this journey is going to get spicy, we wont have fixed everything, people will begin to say we aren’t listening, you may even see people start to panic about player count!
But we’re here for the long haul, we’re in a position where we can try make 1.0 and beyond exactly what we want it to be, no compromises, that’s the dream right?
Thanks for all the support, we won’t always get it right and we haven’t on this first balance pass.. but we will change it every season to keep it fresh and to keep trying new things.
Cheers guys. 👊
@phantasyftw@WARDOGS Some melee weapons would be nice 😊
For when I run out of ammo it would be good to stab someone. My puny little soldier hands don’t cut it.
@Marauder_TKO@akuganemana@Dudewhyme@phantasyftw@WARDOGS It’s just the way the animations were made. For infantry fps they made animations in a way that only works for FPP, then for other things such as mortars they made animations that work in TPP
@itzsagka Deadlocks current system regarding this issue seems to work really well, and it’s right there for the taking. I don’t know why they don’t just pull those rules over to CS as well, considering they own both.
