I love how Cody Campbell is threatening everyone with suing them for violating Anti-Trust…
While simultaneously lobbying the federal government for an anti-trust exemption.
This is the correct approach. You can’t allow the sport to continue with a school willing to field players who are placing wagers on their own team.
Texas Tech must face consequences, or whatever is left of the sport is truly dead.
As disastrous a ruling as there has ever been in modern sports. The pathway is now clear: gamble as much as you like, including on your own team and hope you are--or get--good enough that you can lawyer up down the line. A much bigger disaster than anything with NIL or portal.
I'm about as pro-player as a college football fan can get and I can safely say that Sorsby getting an injunction to play would be one of the worst developments in the history of college sports. There's basically one rule in sports that matters and he broke it repeatedly.
Texas Tech is willing pay millions of dollars in buy outs in order to play Texas week 1 but isn’t willing to pay Mike Leach’s family millions of dollars that they owed him https://t.co/yvNYNFBliu
Arch Manning is going to be the number 1 pick isn't he?
The quality of his late 25 film vs what I remember from 24 and early 25 is wild af. Impressive improvement (and I love improvement). lots of AAAA on Sunday throws. legit athleticism. polished and strong footwork, base, and pocket movement. 2nd level touch.
I'm blown away by how much better it is vs what I remember. it's by no means perfect. there are some misses, some flat deep balls, and some ears on many throws. But my goodness—it's good film.
“I mean, he was getting beat up everywhere. We let up 6 sacks. But that next week, he came out there, never made the first excuse, and took every single rep in practice. All that did was solidify my belief that he’s a quarterback I’m willing to put my life on the line for because what matters to Arch is team”

Just so we're all clear!
If you hire a black guy, the team he came from gets Two, 3rd Round Picks. BUT! If you choose to just randomly name your old QB a President and give him a pure vibes-only position, you are free to hire anyone without awarding picks to your opponent.
Everything is totally normal about this entire situation.
Usually when you see these clips it's a freshman DB not playing the ball and letting the vet catch it freely.
That's... not at all what this is. Coleman is a freak.
Senator proposing this had 3 head coaching jobs in 6 years, and walked out of a dinner with recruits to secretly take another job

This was all when there was no portal so players were stuck playing where he signed them believing he would be there
Texas has the most wins against ranked opponents of any school IN THE COUNTRY since 2023.
NO ONE has a better resume against ELITE opponents than the Longhorns.
