Remember when everyone's telling you Israel is destroying Gaza, killing children, to restore its fabled 'deterrence', and to seek vengeance for its own dead, that is not the whole story. This is also about the global arms industry.

Israel is one of the biggest players in the burgeoning homeland security industry: interception rockets, electronic sensors, surveillance systems, drones, facial recognition, automated gun towers.

Gaza was the shop window, with the rest of the world's armies hungrily looking to buy some of the action.

Palestinians just showed that a rusty bulldozer, some hang-gliders and a sense of nothing-to-lose could overcome it all – at least, for a day or two. That is very bad for business indeed.

Levelling Gaza, showing off the might of those missiles – how they can take down whole tower blocks at a time – is one way to distract from this PR disaster.

If that sounds psychopathic to you... well, welcome to the world of international power politics.

My entire career, my aim was to become a champion and use my fame and influence to make a positive change in the world. I’ve never been scared to speak my mind and stand up for the down trodden.

Recently when Ukraine was attacked by Russia, I personally flew to Poland to support the Ukrainian refugees who had been displaced by the effects of war.

So many people spoke up about these atrocities but as the world watches what is unfolding in Palestine, I see so many of my peers, friends and colleagues who are remaining silent.

Why?

It’s become apparent that people are scared to show their support for Palestine.

Palestinian lives matter.

The world will remember who spoke up and who didn’t.

And God will remember who stayed silent while innocent Muslims blood was spilled.
