White Oak and Margate in Encino is a nightmare with the light down. I've called @LADOTofficial@LAPDwestvalley and @cd4losangeles about this light being out requesting temporary signage and have been waiting for accidents to occur, one just did.
The lights at White Oak and the 101 are also down, but motoriste intuitively know that is an intersection whereas many have been missing Margate. This is especially dangerous at night with all of the streetlights out. We need temporary signage now.
@mulaney your map of LA includes cities that aren't in LA (proper). If the map comes back out you should show how cities like West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Culver City are all just islands of refuge from LA.
I'm honestly pretty accepting of mistakes but this one hurts @TheCoffeeBean - this honestly made my week because of my continued brand loyalty and that was snatched away so quickly and I was left with a pittance.
At 8 p.m., the grid operator ended its Energy Emergency Alert (EEA) with no load sheds for the night. Consumer conservation played a big part in protecting electric grid reliability. Thank you, California!
@senatorshoshana Yeah thats not at all how that works but ok. Initial guess is that Facebook somehow nuked their DNS. This means it could take hours for it to come back. Also this could depend upon the ISP (if they are doing anything funky with routing for a big consumer like Facebook)

Any word from @CityAgouraHills or @LHSLASD on the situation near the Chesebro overpass? Some more real time visibility into situations like this would be great.
