Clarity comes from movement.
The more steps you take forward, the clearer the path comes.
Imagine a car driving at night.
The headlights only show a few feet ahead, but that’s enough to keep moving.
You don’t need to see the whole road. You just need to see the next step.
Travel Coaches: High School baseball during HS season ALWAYS comes first. For those travel organizations telling their families & players, you don't need to play high school ball because there aren't any scouts there or the HS coaches are bad. Get over yourself! C'mon people! Immediate red flag!
High school baseball will provide some of the best memories for these players. There's nothing like competing with the guys you go to school with every day.
The best programs (travel & HS) work together to take care of their players. Because that's what it's all about..THE PLAYERS!
What will a college coach say when you tell them you chose not to play HS? 🤦🏼♂️
Think about the little things you enjoy, then turn around and do them for someone else.
If you feel relief when someone asks a question in class, then other students are probably relieved too. Be the one who asks.
If you love it when a friend calls to check in, your friends probably love it too. Be the one who calls.
If it makes your whole day when someone compliments your outfit, other people probably love it too. Give out more compliments.
If your young athlete can't:
1. Balance on leg
2. Hop 20 yards on 1 foot
3. Squat half way down on 1 leg without collapsing to the ground...
A serious speed training program might not be the best option at this point in their athletic development!

Building athleticism isn’t that complicated. In fact, once upon a time this was called “playing.”
Sprint.
Jump up onto, down from, and over stuff.
Bounce.
Pick up heavy things.
Throw hard.
Do it consistently.
Compete.
Mix it up.
Have fun.
After 14 seasons in Major League Baseball, including 1,655 games in an #SFGiants uniform, Brandon Crawford has officially retired.
Thank you for the incredible memories, Craw! 🧡
What the #49ers MUST DO to turn around the season:
1. Fire ST coordinator Brian Schneider
2. Bench Brendel.
3. Bench LB Campbell
3. Split RB Carries 50/50: CMC & Mason.
4. Feature George Kittle as option 1.
5. Pearsall & Cowing need more play
What else did I miss? #FTTB
I get launch angle, I swear I do....but I would be a fire hitting coach. A little new school with a mix of old school lol... I can't wait for the game to transition back to hard ground balls low line drive and gap to gap mentality....Top hand back shouldering baseballs mentality! During the playoffs and World Series it's funny how that approach shows to be the winning approach offensively..... plus I believe those hitters are usually the more well rounded hitters.
Strength training isn’t:
- Tryouts in 6 wks have to get ready
- I’ll train for 1 month & make some gains
- Not training every other week because you’re “busy.”
Strength training is:
- Consistency year round to make gains
- Multiple dialed in days per wk
- Relentless execution
