Nicknames I've acquired:
Ryn-Tin-Tin (@jennzillar)
Ryndolyn (@Jessie_Doodles)
Rynnigan or Rynigan Dinnegan
Rynnie (or Rynniepoo)
Feel free to add any you've found yourself mentally calling me! Because the more nicknames I get THE MORE POWERFUL I BECOME
@ADHAdddy I also almost forgot second and third breakfast, as they tried to manipulate me when I finally did officially leave bed (after feeding them at 5 like they demanded)
I can't believe I naively thought I'd get to sleep in when I have four animals here to remind me that breakfast is the most important part of the day and it is traditionally served at 5:15
Fellow Missourians: When politicians tell you they fully funded education or that we're spending plenty on public schools, it's not true.
Our state spends LESS today per student than we did 10 years ago.π
But it's easier to lie to people when you underfund their education.
Pet Owner Pro Tip: There is no bed big enough if all the animals want to sleep with you, so make sure you have a super cozy couch as a backup. For you, not the pets. They get the bed. Accept your fate.
I just had such a dramatic 10 minutes that afterwards, I had to sit down and cuddle Sophie while thanking her for being my only good, reasonable, and safe pet.
@DeborahKLangdo1 It feels SO WEIRD. It doesn't really ache that bad, and none of it is missing or anything, but part of my tongue is just numb now π€·
FYI the Missouri GOP banning women from showing their bare arms isnβt a sign of Shariah or Talibanβitβs a sign of right wing βChristianβ extremism in the U.S. Govt.
Stop deflecting extremism in America as something foreign. Itβs 100% American. Admit it. Own it. Work to stop it.
Yesterday, I was chit chatting at the gas station in town, and she asked where I'm commuting to. When I said Columbia, she said, "oh the big city!" in a jokey way. So I told her I know someone that thinks Como is a small town and she laaaaughed and laughed and laughed.
And then I find a FUCKING JINGLE BELL my DUMBASS SELF thought it would be funny to put in my pocket at work so i could jingle throughout the store as I worked the floor.
Conclusion: I am an idiot.
I spent most of my commute concerned about a faint jingling sound in my car. It wasn't there this morning, and I figured it must mean something had come loose-but there was no indication of anything being seriously wrong so I kept driving.
For a wild second, I wonder if I'm being haunted by the ghost of an old business partner. It's the seasonally appropriate time, after all. Or my hip pins came loose and jingle somehow. Or I REALLY fucked up my glasses when I switched to and from sunglasses while driving.
