@farmerschneck@Engineer_Farmer How are the claas for wear components? From the outside they appear to be a machine you could run higher hours more easily. Depressing the things that fail on a deere.
@BarlowFarms1843 As long its been greased, very easy to disassemble, replace seals (do the boot to) bearing on fan side is likely gone, and seals. And your off to the races. Kf its dry when you pull it apart its toast.
@dmartin7810@MdMcLean1@jrlikeswhisky@TomFarms Do you guys lower feed lines to blow tops off? Run the ventrac with blower, biggest concern is maneuverability around lines. Also can whip the ventrac quite fast for corners etc. cab would be nice
@kyleplattner@MaxROIFarmer@JohnDeere Interestingly, what made apple what it is, was not selling subscriptions. It was creating a inferior product. Not just the ease of use, but the physicial hardware was above and beyond everyone else. As a farmer reading what your wrote confirms, I may have deere gps, but thats it.
@Engineer_Farmer@jasonmauck1 Vaderstad has sliding row unit to make tram lines in narrower spacing. It would be easy in my mind to make a 30”-20” spacing planter, getting narrower would get damn hard. Supposed to be a way that the delta force can pick a unit right up.
@LowBoomLowDrift Interesting, part of our sales pitch was software updates where going to applied as the machine is still being fit to the market. This is one that was mentioned. With your thoughts on JD subscription, seems counteractice.
@LowBoomLowDrift I look at it more so as speed is set by operator as not everyone is comfortable at certain speeds, would allow the machine to be pushed further. As sprayer passes build should make for much more accurate height control.
