In January 2025, I looked at my Upwork profile and saw a "Rising Talent" badge and exactly $100 in total earnings. I had been on the platform since 2023, but honestly? I was struggling.
I faced the same walls many of you are hitting right now:
❌ Sending dozens of proposals into the void.
❌ Getting rejected because my profile didn’t look "established" enough.
❌ Wondering if the "global market" was just a dream for someone in Accra.
But I didn't quit. I stopped guessing and started treating Upwork like a science.
I spent 2025 obsessing over profile optimization, mastering the art of proposal writing, and learning how to leverage AI to deliver world-class value.
The result? One year later:
✅ $10k+ in total earnings.
✅ Top Rated status.
✅ 100% Job Success Score across every single project.
✅ High-ticket contracts in Cloud Architecture and Analytics Engineering.
I went from 2 jobs to 7 successful projects and 248 hours of billed expertise.
Why am I sharing this?
Because I know how it feels to be stuck at that $100 mark. I know the frustration of the "Job in Progress" that never seems to lead to the next big win.
At Trainora Consulting Firm, we are hosting the Remote Work Master Class to give back.
We are not just teaching "how to use Upwork, we are giving you the exact blueprint I used to scale from $100 to $10,000 in 12 months.

Stop waiting for luck. Start building your system. 💻💵
A friend asked me how to actually build a company that runs on AI agents.
I drew him 4 simple diagrams and this is what I told him:
For this to work, a few things have to be true.
- The humans move up to strategy, taste, and judgment while agents handle the execution.
- The whole business becomes readable to agents. Your data, SOPs, pricing, permissions, and decisions all live in one shared context layer.
- And you point it at the right work. Repetitive enough for an agent, complex enough that the incumbents never bothered. That's the goldmine.
In the old world, the company was the people. They held the knowledge, made the calls, did the work.
In this new world, the people become the creatives, the agents become the labor, and the company itself becomes the context layer.
That shared brain is the actual company now. The humans and the agents are just plugging into it.
Which means the most valuable thing you can build in 2026 is a business so well-documented that an agent can run it.
I see it everyday with @MeetLCA. I don't talk about it much publicly, but we've built a SWAT team for building AI-native orgs and AI-native products.
The moat is how legible your company is.
I drew it all out below.

CEOs are quietly realizing the AI replacement plan has a problem.
Two problems, actually.
One: the token costs for running AI agents are now exceeding what they were paying the employees they fired.
Two: when the tokens run out, the AI stops. Just stops. No continuity. No workaround. Just a spinning wheel where your workforce used to be.
You fired humans to save money and bought a subscription that bills you into a corner.
The employees you let go knew what to do when things broke.
The AI just invoices you for the outage.
And then there’s the permission problem nobody wants to talk about.
To do its job, the AI agent needs access. Full access. Your systems, your patents, your contracts, your future plans. Everything you spent years building, handed over to a process that has no loyalty, no discretion, and no skin in the game.
You didn’t hire a replacement.
You gave a stranger with no soul the keys to everything you own.
Enjoy.

People talk, listen, watch, think, and collaborate at the same time, in real time. We've designed an AI that works with people the same way.

How to master any skill fast:
- stop studying
- outline a project
- start building it
- hit a roadblock
- figure out how to overcome it
- repeat 4 and 5 for the rest of your life
Most people don't get past 1, the rest spiral into complacency after 4.
Students often don't realize that after they graduate, the game eventually becomes 100% about what they've *actually done* and 0% about what they have the "potential" to do -- and this transition happens faster than they expect.
This can be a hard truth for students who get used to hearing "you're going to do great things" and then never take action.
But it's a welcome truth for those who are willing to put in serious work to get serious results.
Highly ambitious men often make extraordinary partners, but very few people speak honestly about how difficult it can be to be with them. The degree of loneliness that accompanies loving such a man is immense.
You are perpetually sharing him with the future he is trying to build. His mind is occupied by the empire, vision, responsibility of constructing something larger than himself. And because of that, there are long stretches where you feel alone, even while deeply loved.
Men like this need women who possess an interior life of their own, women capable of building alongside them rather than merely waiting for attention. A woman who can contribute meaningfully to the empire itself understands the architecture of his absence better than most.
There is something deeply saddening about this dynamic, yet strangely beautiful too. And truthfully, if it were otherwise, I do not think I would want it. Some forms of love are inseparable from sacrifice.
You endure it for your future generations, for yourselves and the possibility of creating something that exceeds both of you.
Never show them the process. Appear effortless. The more they see your struggle, the more human you become, and humanity doesn’t inspire obedience. Hide your labor. Let the finished product look divine. Effortlessness is the perfume of power.
Until Ghanaians fix our relationship with time, I don’t think we’ll ever unlock the next level that’s needed to succeed.
They’ve given us all a specific time to be somewhere, you’re texting the group that you’ll be late. Me that I woke up at 5 so I’ll not be late, am I a fool?
