@acorbe2 Entirely dependent on the home institution. NIH is nudging and strongly suggesting that the home institute needs to keep paying them/providing the same benefits as non-F/T/K-supported trainees. Eventually it'll become a requirement...

Thrilled that one of my minions is following in my footsteps and has the honor to learn from the best @CancerBioEmory and @WinshipAtEmory this fall! Excited to hear great things from Anna along her journey!
Excited to have worked with @sarajwong and COMPASS all year to produce this programming for @ASCBiology! If you're attending #cellbio2023, be sure to swing by and catch this awesome, trainee-organized, professional development programming!
@ZeroNoiseLab@DanHoops@eLife Just trying to make sure I understand. Multiple @eLife editors reviewed the manuscript, before deciding to not send it for "review"? So eLife editors are reviewers, and nothing has changed besides nomenclature?
It's been a blast working with @sarajwong to lead COMPASS in @ASCBiology over the past year. If you're an ASCB trainee and interested in advocating for our constituents and ensuring our voice is heard, please feel free to apply to COMPASS!
So grateful to @mary_munson4 for her leadership and mentorship over the years. Could not be prouder to have a wonderful leader for @ASCBiology into the future. Congrats to Mary and to ASCB!
Mary Munson has been elected to serve as President of ASCB in 2025. Munson, a Professor in the Dept of Biochemistry and Molecular Biotechnology at UMass Chan Medical School, will serve as President-Elect on the ASCB Executive Committee beginning in 2024. R https://t.co/quyEjQxyn3
So grateful to this wonderful crew for helping make this project such a success! Congrats @BajAnna451@isaiahking03 and Daniel who still doesn’t have Twitter yet! Thanks for all your work and dedication to our project!
Standing with his dream team (@BajAnna451@isaiahking03 and Daniel Low), @s_wilkinson88 regales us about cross-talk between pathways from his poster: “Examining the role of HER2 signaling in promoting prostate cancer proliferation in an AR low environment” at #AACRprostate23

@HarmitMalik MLK Memorial at sunset is IMPECCABLE. My personal recommendation for everyone looking for outdoor views: Pre-sunset, start at Washington Monument, walk towards Lincoln Memorial along the pool. Go to MLK Memorial before dusk, and just enjoy the power of the moment. 10/10 recommend
Couldn't be prouder of my 2017 summer student who had the courage to come back 2 years later for another round. Watch out, Greensboro, Dr Atway is on her way!
@anruggieri Was one of the hardest things in my entire life, saying goodbye. Gotta remember that you've outgrown your environment and new/exciting things await you. It's a good thing, but also bittersweet to say goodbye to something so great.
Working with COMPASS for the past several years has been one of the greatest highlights of my career. Incredible opportunity to contribute to the direction of the Society, and IMMENSE networking opportunities. As the current COMPASS chair, I strongly encourage everyone to apply!
Volunteer for COMPASS -- the Committee for Postdocs and Students (COMPASS)-- to create programming and resources that directly address the training and career development needs of graduate students and postdocs Apply by Oct 15.
