My name is written in hindi as कुलदीप . There is exactly one way of writing my name in Hindi which is because it is a phonetic script.

My name in English can be written as Kuldip, Kuldeep, Kuldaep or even Kuldyp.

The Indian state knows this. but I am required to defend my eligibility as a voter because the vowels used in my name during the year of my birth and the year I got my aadhar card made and the year I became eligible to vote are different.

My name in hindi remains the same but I am being told that I need to defend my status as a voter because the indian state values English more than hindi.

The party in power is doing this to me. The party in power believes hindi is the national language. The ECI which I believe now to have become an instrument of the party in power, should really know better and do better.

For everyone curious about the hold:

The hold at T-5 minutes during the Automatic Launch Sequence (ALS) was most likely caused by an old navigation parameter from what we call a static navigation test remaining in memory. It had a slight mismatch with the current navigation value, which triggered the hold.

Restarting the ALS refreshed the navigation parameters, bringing them back in sync with the current values, and the sequence proceeded normally.

So yes—a simple restart of the ALS technically solved the issue, but only because it reloaded the correct navigation parameters.

India mandated E20 from 2023 for material compliance, and before that it was E10. After 2023, both the cars and the fuel are mandated for E20. The cause of concern is what happens if E20 fuel is used in cars that have been manufactured and sold before 2023, which were primarily designed for E10?... We have sufficient factors of safety that ensure there is no problem in terms of wear and tear, corrosion, or damage to the life of the car or the parts that come in contact with the E20 fuel if E20 is used on cars that were produced and sold in India before 2023. As a manufacturer, we have tested E10 cars, which were prevalent before 2023, on E20 fuel for all parameters, and we have not found anything of concern..."
