One idea I wanted the team to leave with:

Don’t only understand your task. Understand the business behind it.

What problem are we solving? What value are we creating? What is changing in the market? And how can we contribute beyond what is expected?

The strongest teams are built when people understand the bigger picture and start thinking like owners.

As Director - North America at Ditstek Innovations, a large part of my work involves conversations with founders and technology leaders about what happens after the idea: building the product, scaling it, modernizing what already exists, integrating fragmented systems, and figuring out where technologies like AI actually make business sense.

That’s also what I’m looking forward to during Tech Week.

Not just events and introductions, but conversations with people who are building, operating and solving difficult problems across healthcare, fintech, SaaS, enterprise technology and beyond.
