I think in those questions you need to weigh against any other form of held value. I own real estate, or do I. If I stop paying taxes it is confiscated from me. Bitcoin properly held can never be confiscated. Tradition banks, I have dollars in accounts of a number of different banks. If I need to send 20k somewhere, how easily do you think that will go and what will be the true settlement time. With bitcoin it is 10 minutes or less instant finality. These are just some of the elements of what value is extracted from bitcoin. Don't try to see what it is only on its own. Try to see what it solves in every other area of money or value that is a problem for you. Biggest one of all, ever dollar I have ever possessed EVER. Is always worth less than it was when I first obtained it. Think about that deeply. You can pick no time frame where a dollar is worth more, one year, five years, ten years ago. You can always buy more with bitcoin you have held for 4 years or more. You can only ever buy less with dollar you held four years or more.
