Videos have surfaced online of Assam Rifles troops rescuing Manipur Police commandos pinned down by insurgents with heavy gunfire in a highway ambush. The militants, hiding in a hill, had ambushed a convoy of Manipur Police commandos on the highway between Imphal and the India-Myanmar border town of Moreh on October 31. The commandos were en route to Moreh, 115 kilometres from Imphal, as reinforcements after a senior police officer was shot dead by an insurgent sniper while overseeing the construction of a helipad in the border town, which has seen intense clashes between the hill majority Chin-Kuki tribes and the valley-majority Meiteis in recent months.

It seems like a very calculated move.

On 4th May 2023, all #meitei houses and temples were burnt and destroyed in Moreh.

When state forces tried to go to #Moreh for maintaining law and order, Kuki women stopped them on the way.

In the meantime Kukis looted abandoned and destroyed meitei homes, changed the names of meitei villages to completely wipe off all records

After police officer C Anand was killed by #Kuki_ZoNarcoterrorist the state finally used force to rush in reinforcements despite being ambushed twice on the way.

While combing operation finally took place, #Kuki_ZoNarcoterrorist commanders of PDF were caught along with dozens of illegal Burmese immigrants.

While inspecting designated SoO camps, no registered cadres were found !

This only shows that #Kuki_ZoNarcoterrorist have been involved in #KukiAtrocities using SoO as an excuse !

A brief history of the relationship between the Khongrei king, Hungpung king and Meitei king and the Mangang -Hungshi bloodline, as tabled by the committee stated that “after generations of migration from Central Asia, the ancestors of these three (Khongrei, Hungpung and Meitei) kings came to Makhel from Thibungmei (Kohima).
