People who arrive 5 minutes early are not just punctual.
They are telling you:
- I respect your time
- I respect my time
- This time matters
Punctuality isn't about time management.
It is about respect.
I haven't written any of the 6 books I have published.
They have written themselves.
I write for 40 minutes every morning before I speak to a single human.
Not typing.
Pen and paper writing.
I have maintained a daily blog for 21 years now.
Not for an audience.
Not for reach.
Not for money.
Because it is the slowest form of expression.
When I write I am training my mind to select the most important thought of all the thoughts inside.
And bring it to the front.
Pages and pages of my thoughts.
Shaped by my observations.
Structured by my practice.
So I never had to sit down to write the books.
They wrote themselves.
One day at a time.
To everyone who wishes to write a book.
Don't wish to write a book
Instead, wish to write everyday.
The book will write itself.
People can help you in many ways throughout life, but there are two things nobody can give you: curiosity and drive. They must be self-supplied.
If you are not interested and curious, all the information in the world can be at your fingertips, but it will be relatively useless. If you are not motivated and driven, whatever connections or opportunities are available to you will be rendered inert.
Now, you won't feel curious and driven about every area of life, and that's fine. But it really pays to find something that lights you up. This is one of the primary quests of life: to find the thing that ignites your curiosity and drive.
There are many recipes for success. There is no single way to win. But nearly all recipes include two ingredients: curiosity and drive.
1) Speak like a Lawyer.
2) Express like a Philosopher.
3) Think like a Scientist.
4) Analyze like a Psychologist.
5) Observe like a Detective.
6) Love like a Poet.
7) Decide like a Judge.
8) Create like an Artist.
9) Work like an Engineer.
Books didn't give me knowledge.
They gave me permission.
Permission to think differently.
To see myself differently.
To act differently.
That's the real return on reading.
Not information.
Reconfiguration.

@JioSaavn I'm unable to stream/use the app since past one week. Even after writing to the support team, i haven't received any confirmation or complaint id on my email address. I'm using the Pro version and I can't expect such kind of service. Pls look into it and resolve it!
