I don’t fully agree. There are many product companies in Pune, and even many “product development services “ companies. You need a recruiter with knack of finding them and have to be patient. (@sadepach is helping Ampool in finding right product development & QA talent.)

"Don't teach systems programming; just teach how to build on top of what already exists" seems a very popular position now, but it's so transparently unsustainable that I'm left baffled. How many systems programmers would we have if students were never exposed to it?
