Ex-Chief Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy did not die of cancer, but from Naturopathy and Siddha treatment that worsened his disease.

One of the most successful Malayalam Film directors, Siddique did not die of liver failure, but allegedly from the Unani herbal drugs he was consuming for ?diabetes/liver disease that resulted in liver failure.

Chinese actress Xu Ting did not die from lymphoma, but from traditional Chinese medicine and accupuncture which she chose instead of life saving chemotherapy.

Apple founder Steve Jobs did not die of neuroendocrine tumor of the pancreas, but from the botanicals, accupuncture and alternative-medicine "cancer cure" diet which he chose, instead of medicine and surgery.

Dutch actress and comedian Sylvia Millecam did not die from a treatable and curable breast cancer, but from Naturopathy given by her alternative medicine practitioner, which she chose, instead of curative surgery.

American actor Steve McQueen did not die of mesothelioma cancer, but from alternative medicine treatments that included prayers, coffee enemas, injections made from fetuses of sheep/cattle, massages and 50 types of herbal and dietary supplements.

Young boy Ryan Lovett did not die from a completely curable Streptococcus infection, but from the Homeopathic formulations his mother Tamara Lovett gave him instead of antibiotics.

Republican Congressman Tom McClintock's wife Lori McClintick died not from any disease, but from ingestion of detox herbal tea that contained leaves of white mulberry.

Fighting against the use of complementary and alterntive medicine is not belittle their respective practitioners, but to protect and save the public from harm that these practitioners falsely consider "effective."

Which is why me and my colleagues and many physicians like us, strive hard to improve the scientific temperament of the general public, caregivers and patients - because we do not want to let lives be lost to avoidable circumstances.
