Dear Chairman CDA @SohailAshrafGor اسلام علیکم
Here we are back within a week - another rain. another flood. Same D-12. Videos attached.
80-90% of drainage points are blocked, buried, or inaccessible. We've raised this every single time. And every single time, someone shows up with a temporary patch. Rain comes again. Patch fails. Cycle repeats.
Water doesn't reach the drains. It floods our streets. Enters our basements. Destroys our property. Every. Single. Time.
Now the open drain on Service Road West (which seems worse than roads in Gaza and Tripoli) towards D-13. We pushed for this as the solution to constant flooding. CDA dug the trench. Then walked away. No drains installed. Work abandoned. The very project meant to stop D-13 stormwater from entering D-12 is now an open channel pouring it straight in.
The supposed solution became the problem.
This isn't just property damage anymore Chairman Sahib. This is a ticking public safety risk.
D-12 residents need three things:
* Clear and activate every drainage point in D-12. Not next month. Now.
* Complete the SR West drain and SR-West rehabilitation project. No more excuses.
* A street-wise progress report. Which streets done. How many points cleared. What's left. When it'll be done. We need responsive management, not post-rain photo ops.
@MohsinnaqviC42 You're pushing to divide Pakistan into smaller provinces for better governance. Meanwhile, CDA collects nearly Rs 500,000 per household and can't solve basic rainwater drainage in a planned capital city. Governance starts here. At the street level. In the drains that don't work.
We don't need another cleanup crew after the next downpour. We need a permanent drainage solution for D-12.
Act before the next heavy rain. Not after.

The biggest public hospital in the capital city, didn’t have fire protection and emergency systems in place. 14 newborns die in incubators.
That’s all we need to know about #Pakistan’s emergency preparedness and priorities. #pims#islamabad
Best to ignore any takes or opinions from American liberals. The least relevant species on the planet at the moment. The rest of us here are suffering a pointless war mostly because of the pathologies they’ve enabled or failed to fix.
There's a physicist at Stanford named Safi Bahcall who modeled this exact principle and the math is wild.
He calls it "phase transitions in human networks." When you're stationary, your probability of a lucky event is limited to your existing surface area: the people you already know, the places you already go, the ideas you've already been exposed to. Your opportunity window is fixed.
When you move, your collision rate with new nodes in a network increases nonlinearly. Double your movement (new conversations, new cities, new projects) and your probability of a serendipitous encounter doesn't double. It roughly quadruples. Because each new node connects you to their entire network, not just to them.
Richard Wiseman ran a 10-year study at the University of Hertfordshire tracking self-described "lucky" and "unlucky" people. The single biggest differentiator wasn't IQ, education, or family money. Lucky people scored significantly higher on one trait: openness to experience. They talked to strangers more, varied their routines more, and said yes to invitations at nearly twice the rate.
The "unlucky" group followed the same routes, ate at the same restaurants, and talked to the same 5 people. Their networks were closed loops. No new inputs, no new collisions.
Luck isn't random. Luck is surface area. And surface area is a function of movement.
The lobster emoji is doing more work than most people realize. Lobsters grow by shedding their shell when it gets too tight. The growth requires a period of total vulnerability. No protection, no armor, soft body exposed to the ocean.
That's the cost of movement nobody posts about. You have to be uncomfortable first. The new shell only hardens after you've already moved.
Notice how the word "freedom" works in American political language.
Freedom to bomb another country: called defense.
Freedom to sanction a population into poverty: called pressure.
Freedom to support a coup against an elected government: called stability.
But freedom for another country to choose its own economic system? Threat.
Freedom for another people to elect a government Washington doesn't approve of? Crisis.
Freedom for the Global South to trade outside the dollar system? Aggression.
The word means: our freedom to do what we want, everywhere, to everyone.
It does not mean what the dictionary says.
It never did.
And the citizens who repeat it most fervently are usually the ones who have thought least carefully about what they're actually saying.
They're not lying.
They genuinely don't know.
The empire translated the word for them before they were old enough to question the translation.
In 2011, a neuroscientist at MIT named Dr. Li-Huei Tsai made a discovery that should have been on the front page of every newspaper on Earth.
She exposed mice with advanced Alzheimer's disease to a flickering light pulsing at exactly 40 Hz — forty flashes per second. Nothing else. No drugs. No surgery. Just light at a specific frequency.
Within one hour, the amyloid-beta plaques in their brains — the protein deposits that define Alzheimer's — began to dissolve. Not slow. Not gradually. Within sixty minutes.
After seven days of daily 40 Hz exposure, plaque levels dropped by 50%. The mice regained memory function. Their neurons began firing in synchrony again. The brain's immune cells — microglia — activated and started clearing the toxic buildup like a cleaning crew that had been asleep for years.
The study was published in Nature. The most prestigious scientific journal on the planet. Peer-reviewed. Replicated. Confirmed.
That was 2016. It is now 2026.
40 million people worldwide have Alzheimer's. The pharmaceutical industry generates $13 billion per year from Alzheimer's drugs that do not reverse the disease. Not one of them. They slow it. Maybe. Temporarily. At $26,000 per year per patient.
A 40 Hz light costs less than a dollar to produce.
Dr. Tsai is still at MIT. Her research continues. Phase III human trials are underway. But you will not see this on the evening news. You will not hear your doctor mention it. You will not find it in any pharmacy.
Because a frequency that costs nothing cannot sustain a $13 billion industry.
The light is 40 Hz. The frequency is real. The science is published. And 40 million people are still waiting for permission to use it.
I think this is the most insane thing the CIA has ever made public. 😨
They have a secret AI tool called Ghost Murmur.
It detects your heartbeat from 40 miles away using AI.
Not your phone. Not a tracker. Not a radio signal.
Your heartbeat.
It uses sensors built from synthetic diamonds to lock onto the electromagnetic fingerprint your heart produces every single beat, then pairs it with AI to filter that one signal from 1,000 square miles of noise.
Last week, a wounded American pilot was hiding in a mountain crevice in Iran.
No phone. No tracker. No way to call for help.
America found him anyway. From the sky. By listening to his chest.
But nobody mentioned the most important detail.
This was Ghost Murmur's first operational use. It's been sitting classified for years. Tested. Ready. Waiting.
They didn't reveal it to impress you. They revealed it because the rescue was already public.
Every technology a government admits to is the one they've already moved past.
Your heart has been broadcasting your location your entire life.
Someone just built the receiver.
I've taught European history for 30 years. Americans have always asked me how the Holocaust was possible, how Germans could have enabled a madman reveling in mass murder to carry out his plans. Now we can see in real time how this is enabled; now we have front-row seats.
A country that has nuclear weapons is threatening to use its nuclear weapons on the country it won’t allow to have nuclear weapons because if they had nuclear weapons they would ‘use them.’
When Trump threatened to destroy a whole civilisation, impliedly by using nuclear weapons, the SILENCE of other Western leaders (with few exceptions such as the Pope & Sanchez) marks the most shameful imaginable lack of moral courage
Keeping silent at time of maximum peril
This is very unfortunate that Israel bombed a place of Jewish worship in Iran. Israel does not represent Jews. Israel is a terrorist State. People belonging to all religions must raise voice against the bombing of a Synagogue in Iran by Israel.
Pakistan speaks of mediating global conflicts, yet at home peaceful protesters outside Adiala Jail are met with force.
@ImranKhanPTI remains imprisoned for over 1,000 days justice delayed, voices suppressed.

I have not seen a single mainstream media outlet give this the attention it deserves.
Israel blew up an entire Lebanese town, an ancient place. It should be headline news. There’s footage of it happening.
Imagine this was your town, and you saw every building blown up by a terrorist army to prevent you from ever returning. You would at the very least expect wall to wall coverage. Instead it passes without a word.
It’s not the only town Israel has blown up. And sadly it probably won’t be the last.
Israel’s Channel 13 has a countdown clock for Trump's threat to destroy Iran’s civilization.
The most open, genocidal society on the planet has normalized annihilation of entire peoples.
