I’ve spoken with flat Earthers and those who say it is round. I’ve listened to both sides, and in my sensible, centrist, scientific opinion, it is in fact a cube.
The power of education is astounding. Was flabbergasted when I found out that my milk- wallahs son is now an esteemed professor of Psychology in the UK! Amazing what determination and education can lift you up to.
@ajlees Critical analysis of the story that a patient tells, while he/she talks, followed by relevant probing-leading questions .....hasn't failed me yet
@Punit_Pania Education can only be promoted by a government that is itself educated. Not by pseudo-literates with degrees that may not exist. Indians have to ask themselves whether 800 crores spent on a temple is better than 100 crores on a good school. We get what we vote for.
Why does sugarcane taste so sweet in India today? India’s sugarcane wasn’t always this sweet. The reason it tastes the way it does today goes back to the stubborn brilliance of one woman who fought prejudice, doubt, and even war. Thread.

🎯STRUCK: Hamas terrorist Anas Al-Sharif, who posed as an Al Jazeera journalist
Al-Sharif was the head of a Hamas terrorist cell and advanced rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops.
Intelligence and documents from Gaza, including rosters, terrorist training lists and salary records, prove he was a Hamas operative integrated into Al Jazeera.
A press badge isn’t a shield for terrorism.
Billionaires and politicians have won their freedom from ethics morality et al . Thanks to the rest of us.

BREAKING: Jeff Bezos–backed Wildtype just got FDA approval to sell lab-grown salmon, after the agency skipped independent testing and animal trials, rubber-stamping it as “safe” based solely on the company’s own data.
Corporate science just wrote its own permission slip.
@Nature@MichaelOkun Can someone who fully understands molecular pathways explain why lithium concentration is high within plaques ?
Cause or consequence ?
Do not be a person who refuses to give dapt to patient with high risk tia, because u saw him at 80 hours. Or to a mild stroke nihss 6 small infarct, high risk of recurrence and low risk of bleed.
What if they have an ulcerated plaque
The problems
- minor stroke definition varies
- minor by nihss does not reflect mechanism or risk of early stroke recurrence perfectly
- all these guidelines are based on criteria from studies ( which intend to pick highest risks but may not be perfect)

🧠 Navigating the Antiplatelet Maze: SAPT or DAPT?
One of stroke neurology’s biggest questions simplified!
Ever wondered exactly when to choose single vs. dual antiplatelet therapy in stroke?
Here's a clear, evidence-based roadmap to guide your clinical decisions confidently.
👇 Below is the slide I prepared for one of my recent presentations on antiplatelet management in stroke:
Assess risk- benefit beyond the strict "number" boundaries.
Highest risk of recurrence - first few days > weeks.
Highest benefit of intensive antiplatelet is in this period . Risk of bleed increases with time, beyond couple of weeks.

Personalised medicine goes beyond guidelines .
Guidelines give us a great foundation - but they are not the house built on that foundation.
Guidelines are a fantastic basis for personalising Risk-benefit analysis.
