Saturday reminder:
"As time goes on, you'll understand. What lasts, lasts: what doesn't, doesn't. Time solves most things. And what time can't solve, you have to solve yourself".
Dogs without rabies are being poisoned and killed in the name of rabies control. This is clearly cruel. Higher authorities issuing orders and those carrying out these actions will soon face the same consequences, inshallah.
You eventually get over it, on a random Tuesday night, maybe on the coldest day of winter, when nothing special happens. There is no sudden relief, only a gentle loosening of what once felt unbearable and that is when you understand, you survived what you thought would end you.
The psyche clings hardest to attachments formed without closure. Completion provides narrative; ambiguity breeds obsession. When endings refuse definition, the mind keeps revisiting, hoping repetition might retroactively manufacture certainty.
It's unsettling how easily memory fabricates tenderness how your mind edits the painful details, clings to the luminous ones and convinces you that losing them was a cosmic error instead of a predictable human exit.
Healing isn't maturity; it's acclimation. The nervous system simply learns how to function around a permanent vacancy posting spam stories, laughing on cue, while privately acknowledging that something sacred was misfiled as temporary and never returned.
They say remembering the lost loved ones too much might trouble their peace.
I wonder if that's true or just another lie humans tell to escape their grief.
