भारत कोई मठ नहीं, बल्कि एक संवैधानिक गणराज्य है। और राज्य किसी धर्म-विशेष की जागीर नहीं।

इस स्पष्ट उल्लेख के बावजूद एक कथावाचक पुंडरीक गोस्वामी को उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस द्वारा परेड और सलामी (Guard of Honour) दी जाती है—यह सिर्फ़ एक प्रशासनिक गलती नहीं, बल्कि संविधान पर खुला हमला है।

सलामी और परेड राज्य की संप्रभु शक्ति का प्रतीक होती है। यह सम्मान संविधान, राष्ट्र और शहीदों के नाम पर दिया जाता है।किसी कथावाचक, बाबा या धर्मगुरु का रुतबा बढ़ाने के लिए नहीं।

मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के तथाकथित रामराज्य में अब हालात ये हैं कि—आस्था को संविधान से ऊपर,धर्म को कानून से ऊपर और कथावाचकों को संवैधानिक पदों से ऊपर बैठाया जा रहा है।

यह घटना बताती है कि उत्तर प्रदेश का प्रशासन अब संविधान के प्रति जवाबदेह नहीं, बल्कि धार्मिक सत्ता के आगे नतमस्तक है। यह एक ख़तरनाक परंपरा की ओर इशारा करता है, जहाँ राज्य धीरे-धीरे अपने संवैधानिक चरित्र को त्याग रहा है।

सवाल उठते है— पुंडरीक गोस्वामी हैं कौन?, वे कौन-सा संवैधानिक पद धारण करते हैं?, किस कानून या प्रोटोकॉल के तहत उन्हें Guard of Honour दिया गया?, क्या अब उत्तर प्रदेश में धार्मिक पहचान ही नया सरकारी प्रोटोकॉल है?

मुख्यमंत्री @myogiadityanath को याद दिलाना ज़रूरी है—

1. संविधान की प्रस्तावना भारत को धर्मनिरपेक्ष राष्ट्र घोषित करती है, किसी एक धर्म का सेवक नहीं।
2. अनुच्छेद 15: धर्म के आधार पर विशेषाधिकार देना असंवैधानिक है।
3. अनुच्छेद 25–28: राज्य धर्म से दूरी बनाए रखेगा, चरणवंदना नहीं करेगा।

इसका साफ़ मतलब है—संविधान सर्वोच्च है—कोई धर्म नहीं। राज्य का कोई धर्म नहीं होता।
