It's a continuation strategy. It trades with the move instead of trying to catch the turn, so the profit potential is bigger than chasing reversals.

Right now it's very profitable.
Over the long term, the win rate sits only slightly above 50%.

So it needs work.

The full Pine Script is in the repo. Test it on your own data and show me what you change.
